July: Comet Shoemaker-Levy-9 barely misses the planet Jupiter. Instead, it hurls toward Earth.
August-September: NASA, RSA and ESA announce the comet's rapid descent. Every nation build underground shelters in most major cities. The United States builds five per state. Millions of immigrants spread throughout the southwest.
December-Christmas Eve: Comet is faintly visible to the eye.
1995[]
January-May: 4.3 billion of the 6.7 billion people on Earth are in shelters. 1.2 of the remaining 2.4 hide in basements, subway tracks and stations, and even in tornado shelters.
June: Comet is now brighter than both Venus or Sirius combined. The Pope declares that Armageddon has begun, and in the Mecca and Medina Shelters, the largest prayer ever is done. The Kabba is moved underground with Mecca's and Jedda's populations.
1996[]
February: Riots peak as the moon breaks Shoemaker-Levy-9 in to two pieces and hurls them toward Earth, too.
August 24: the first fragment plummets into the city of London, decimating the local shelter.
1997[]
February 17: Shoemaker-Levy-9 hits - hammering into New York City, destroying the 3rd largest shelter, behind Tokyo and Mexico City.
March: The New Ice Age has begun.
1998[]
May: Temperatures hover at 45 degrees.The Beijing, Moscow, Tokyo, and Lhasa shelters finally open for the first time since 1995.
July 4th: The remaining US shelters open, and July Fourth is gleefully celebrated.
August-December: All other shelters are open. Temperature at equator is now around the 70s. Life starts as usual. The Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, and Jews hold a world wide worship and celebration, commemorating the lives lost.
1999-2009[]
January 1st, New Years Day: Humans do planet-wide celebrations on living into the next century! January 1 through January 7 is called World Peace Week. August 24 is London Memory Day and February 17 is Shoemaker-Levy Day. These Three Holidays are celebrated worldwide.
April 2000: All borders are redrawn.
February 2004: Barack Obama becomes the USA's President. He starts the New United nations, and Colin Powell & Vladimir Putin are the Ambassador and Secretary.
November 2008: Obama is elected again by every state due to his immense popularity for helping keep humanity alive.
