Theodore III (Theodore Albert Alexander Charles William, 24 March 1855 — 2 August 1928) was the fifth Emperor of Cygnia. He ascended the throne upon the death of his father Theodore II in 1885, and held the throne for 43 years until his death in 1928. He was the third-longest-reigning monarch in Cygnia's history, after his grandson, Ellory I, and his father.
Theodore III was known for his relatively conservative leanings when compared to his predecessors and successors, and was notorious for his favouritism toward National Unity Cancellarial candidates and Congressmen. Throughout his reign he was known to be more approachable and friendly toward NUP Chancellors than those of the Democratic Labour Party.
Theodore was born in 1855 to Theodore II of Cygnia and his wife Mary Frances Tennyson. He became declared heir apparent at the age of 12 in 1867. The younger Theodore spent much of his adolescence educated in politics and leadership, and developed a conservative posture.
