Thuringia is a country located in what used to be Germany before 1969. It borders the German Administrations, Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, & New Czechian State. It was established on September 29th, 1995. Thuringia describes itself in it's constitution as a 'crowned republic', where a monarchy is present, but holds no power other than opening sessions of Parliament and appointing knights and other honorary titles. This is why the monarchy is mostly unacknowledged in politics, and is sometimes even excluded from being considered part of the government.
