June 13rd, 1929- Sonic the Hedgehog made his debut in the first cartoon, "Sonic the Hedgehog," Amy Rose and Dr. Eggman are introduced in that cartoon.

1931- Miles 'Tails' Prower is introduced in the Sonic cartoon, "A Flying Fox."

1936- Knuckles the Echidna is introduced in the Sonic cartoon, "The Echidna Strikes."

1936-1969- Sonic theatrical shorts continue to appear in movie theaters in front of movies until 1969.

September 10th, 1966- "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" airs on ABC, features Sonic, Tails and Eggman and introduces the robots, Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts.

1968- "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" is cancelled by ABC for a low ratings.

September 2th, 1969- Columbia Pictures stops making any more Sonic cartoons.

1975- "Sonic X," a Sonic anime airs for the first time, the show features Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles and Eggman and introduced Chris Thorndyke, Cream the Rabbit and Rouge the Bat.

1978- Big the Cat, Tikal the Echidna and E-102 Gamma are introduced in the third season of "Sonic X."

1979- Shadow the Hedgehog, Charmy the Bee, Vector the Crocodile and Espio the Chamellion are introduced in the fourth season of "Sonic X." Paramount Pictures announces plans for a first Sonic movie.

1982- "Sonic and Sally," the first Sonic movie, released on February 18, by Paramount, five months before "Star Trek II: The Revenge of Khan" (which is OTL's "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan") was released, the movie featured Sonic and Charmy and introduced Sally Acorn (in her 1982-1985 black haired pink fur incarnation), Bunnie Rabbot, Rotor Walrus, Antoine D'Coolette, Madam Medusa, Mr. Snoops, Penny and Orville the Albatross. The plot is the same as OTL's "The Rescuers," The movie is a huge success to the box office and reception and Paramount announced plans for a sequel. Cosmo the Plant and the Metarex is introduced in the final season of "Sonic X."

1984- "Sonic X" airs for the last time after nine years on television with the last episode, "The Final Battle."

1985- Paramount releases the second Sonic movie, "Sonic Too!," a horror musical comedy featuring Sonic, Sally (in her 1985-present red haired brown fur incarnation), Amy, Knuckles, Rouge, Shadow, Emerl, Antoine and Tails and introduces Nack the Weazel in his only appearance, before being murdered by Shadow. "Sonic Too!" has a poor box office due to "Back to the Future," starring Michael J. Fox (who played Wesley Crusher in this timeline's "Star Trek: The Next Generation.")

1987- "Sonic Underground" airs on CBS, featuring Sonic, Shadow and Eggman and introduces Sonic's family, his mother Queen Aleena, his siblings Sonia and Manic and Dr. Eggman's two minions, Sleet and Dingo.

1988- "NiGHTs," the spin-off of Sonic the Hedgehog, released by TriStar Pictures and Sonic Team, which introduced NiGHTs and Lumina Flowlight and featured Sally Acorn from the first two Sonic movies. "NiGHTs" became one of the successful animated films in 1988.

1989- "Sonic the Hedgehog 3," the third musical Sonic movie, was released by Paramount, the film featured Sonic, Sally, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Cream, Bunnie, Antoine, Rotor, Sonia, Manic, Dr. Eggman, Scratch and Grounder. The film bombs at the box office which puts the Sonic feature film franchise to a halt for seven years.

CBS cancels "Sonic Underground" and replaces it with "Sonic the Hedgehog SATAM", featuring Sonic, Sally, Amy, Bunnie, Rotor, Eggman and Antoine and introduces Snivley and in the second season, it introduces Dulcy the Dragon.

"NiGHTs," the animated television series based on the hit movie premieres on ABC, it ran for three seasons.

1991- "Sonic the Hedgehog SATAM" is cancelled by CBS, after only 26 episodes.

"NiGHTs 2," is released by Columbia Pictures on December 11, it is the prequel to "NiGHTs." The film bombs at the box office.

1992- "New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" debuts in syndication in January, featuring Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Rouge, Shadow, Eggman, Sally, Antoine, Bunnie, Rotor, Manic, Sonia, Charmy, Coconuts, Scratch and Grounder. A new character, Mina Mongoose is introduced in that series. Cream and Espio join the series in the second season.

1993- Blaze the Cat debuts in the end of the second season of "New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" in a ninja outfit with blue ninja mask over her nose and mouth, Sonic, Tails, Espio and Rouge wear that same outfit Blaze the Cat is wearing in the start of the third season. Paramount Pictures announced plans for a fourth Sonic movie called, "Sonic and Sally Goes Down Under."

An amateur filmmaker named Joshua Sternberg makes a "Sonic the Hedgehog" parody of the hit 1979 movie "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" and the 1989 blockbuster "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier," called "Blar Trek: Final Frontier." It is set in the alternate universe during the first season of "Star Trek: The Next Generation," where Sally Acorn commands the Enterprise. Paramount and Sonic Team USA sends cease and decist letters to Josh and they liked his fan film and they order the film maker to make more.

1994- Blaze removes her ninja suit. Vector the Crocodile joins the series and is fat and never showers.

Joshua Sternberg makes "Blar Trek II," which is the parody of the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" two-parter "The Best of Both Worlds."

1995- Rotor dies in the end of the fourth season of "New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog." A special, "Return of the Metarex," airs in June 30th, before the fifth season airs in September.

Joshua's "Blar Trek" went to a local access television station of Bend, Oregon.

1996- "Sonic and Sally Goes Down Under," the fourth Sonic movie, released in November 8 by Paramount, features Sonic, Blaze the Cat (who is unmasked for the first time and was given a new costume), Sally, Shadow, McLeach and Joanna and introduced Wilbur the Albatross and Cody. Marine the Raccoon debuts in the sixth and final season of "New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog," Rouge the Bat dies in that season. They made a Star Trek tribute episode (just in time for the release of "Star Trek: First Contact") in that season one episode before Rouge died.

Joshua Sternberg died on March 20, due to a heart attack, leaving "Blar Trek" to a voice actor of Sonic in the "Star Trek" parody named Jordan Schaumburg.

1997- Miles 'Tails' Prower removes his ninja suit after Rouge's death, the same thing goes to Espio before the final episode. "New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" was cancelled by Fox Kids and was replaced by "Sonic Heroes" in September 7th, which introduced E-123 Omega and Rouge the Bat 2.0.

1999- "Sonic Heroes" was cancelled by Fox Kids and replaced it with a Sonic animated series, "Sonic Riders" which featured the Babylon Rogues as the show's villains. Paramount released "Shadow the Hedgehog" a fifth Sonic movie, which featured Shadow the Hedgehog as the lead character.

2001- "Sonic the Hedgehog," a sixth Sonic movie was released on May 20, this movie was the first appearance of Silver the Hedgehog and Mephiles the Dark. With the success of Sonic the Hedgehog, Fox Kids cancels "Sonic Riders" and Cartoon Network airs "Sonic Rivals".

2003- "Sonic Rivals" was cancelled after two seasons on Cartoon Network. "Sonic and the Secret Rings", a seventh Sonic movie was released which introduced Sharia the Genie.

2004- Cartoon Network premieres a new Sonic animated series, "Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood" which introduces Shade the Echidna.

2006- "Sonic Unleashed," a eighth Sonic movie was released, which introduced Werehog Sonic and Chip.

2007- "Sonic and the Black Knight," a ninth Sonic movie was released. "Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood" was cancelled after three seasons on Cartoon Network.

2010- A live-action film simply titled "Sonic the Hedgehog" was released. It involved a mix of CG characters and live-action actors. It starred Shia LaBeouf as Sonic, Burce Campbell as Knuckles, ___ as Tails, Ashley Tisdale as Amy, Jason Stratham as Shadow, Angelina Jolie as Rouge, ___ as Cream, ___ as Blaze, Misha Collins as Silver and Tim Curry as the live action Dr Eggman.
