1920s[]

1927: Beginning of the Chinese Civil War. Communists attempt to overthrow the government.

1930s[]

1937: Japan declares war on China.

1937: The leader of the German Reich, Adolf Hitler, approaches the Republic of China's leader, Chiang Kai-shek. He proposes that China join Germany and Italy in an alliance as Hitler needs a stronghold in Asia against the Communists, and, as the Chinese government is in civil war with the Communist Party of China, Chiang Kai-shek agrees. The Axis Powers are created later that year.

1937-1939: German Forces were sent to China to fight against the Communists. The additional forces were put on the front lines, which build a relationship between the Germans and Chinese. The Nazi's also consider the Chinese on the same level of eugenic superiority as the French and British (a level below the Germans and Aryans). By November 1939, the combined forces of the Axis Powers managed to force the Communist Forces into Soviet Union. After the communists had been driven away from China, China and Germany had to deal with the invading Japanese forces.

1940s[]

Second World War[]

January 1940: Japan went to the United States and the United Kingdom, requesting help against the Chinese and Germans. Both, especially the UK, were already worried about increasing threat of the Axis Powers in Europe and East Asia. And with the increasing possibility of a German invasion of Poland (which is delayed in this ATL due to German forces in China), the United Kingdom and the United States issue a warning to Hitler, demanding they withdraw their troops from Japan and stop intervening in any affairs in East Asia. Hitler ignores this warning. The Allied Powers, including the United States, declare war on Germany the following day.

February 1940: Germany invades Poland and the Soviet Union invaded Finland.

March 1940: Germany invades France and the Low Countries.

September 1943: After the Battle of Ulaanbaatar in the Asian Theatre and the loss of Soviet Mongolia to China, the Finnish launched a counter-invasion against the Soviet Union and took land the Russian area of Murmansk.

September 1944: The Soviet Union collapsed. The south is occupied by China whilst the rest becomes the Russian Republic.

December 1945: British and American troops capture Berlin. Germany surrenders.

January 1946: The United States drop Little Boy on the Chinese city of Guangzhou. The Chinese surrender. Japan annex the East of China and the rest of China becomes the United Provinces of Greater Japanese China, a puppet of Japan. Many people see this as the true beginning of the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere. Chinese Russia is relinquished. The east is occupied by Japanese Empire and the south is occupied by the Federal Republic of China. The rest split into many smaller countries. These are: Moldova, Siberia, Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Gagauzia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Chukchi and Russia. The Japanese and Americans made China pay huge reparations.

April 1946: The UPB (United Peace Bloc) is formed. It's created to stop another world war happening again (similar to OTL UN). The main members are: United States, Japan, Federal Republic of China, Germany, United Kingdom etc.

Late 1940s-1950s: The Chinese Depression: Both Japanese China and the Federal Republic of China fall into a great depression.

1950s[]

September 1951: First Polish-Ukrainian War: Poland goes to war with Ukraine over land disputes. The war ends in September 1951 with a white peace as the UPB puts a stop to it.

September 1951 - February 1952: 'Phoney Peace' between Ukraine and Poland.

December 1951: Poland leaves the United Peace Bloc.

February - March 1952: Poland starts the Second Polish-Ukrainian War, putting an end to the Phoney Peace. The war ends with Ukraine being annexed.
