The Beginning 1995

January 25, 1995 - A Black Brant XII four-stage sounding rocket made to study the northern lights launched by Norway is mistaken as a EMP. In response Russia launches multiple nuclear warheads at the US and within a few minutes the world in consumed in a global nuclear war. This event became know as the Nuclear War of 95.

January 26, 1995 - Casualties range in the millions. Thousands of missiles have already hit and cities ray in ruin littered with rubble. Cities like New York or London are unrecognizable because of how much they have been destroyed. The explosions from the nuclear missiles have already started huge forest fires all over the globe which are pumping large amounts of smoke into the air. The world is horrified.

January 27, 1995 - The Swiss Federation is formed as a union of Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

A map showing refuges after the war. People in North America moved towards Mexico and then into Latin America. West European and Russian people moved into Eastern Europe. Others moved into Siberia and Asia.

February 1, 1995 - Due to the nuclear war and many other factors, multiple nuclear powers plants have had meltdowns. Places like Western Europe, Eastern United States, and Western Russia are affected the worst and huge amounts of radiation leak into the environment, making certain areas uninhabitable.

When fuel stopped coming in millions of cars were left to rust.

February 10, 1995 - Because these meltdowns are being unattended, the effects are far worse. The radiation finds itself into the environment. Black rain falls and washes radioactive waste, debris, dust, dead bodies, and trash from nuked cities and broken nuclear power plants. Soon, all these things find themselves in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean, flowing from both Europe and North America in large amounts. Radioactive waste floats all the way to places like South Africa and the Antarctic.

1996-2000

The aftermath of the war continues.

2000-2005

September 18, 2001 - the East African Federation is fully formed after the six-year long process of closer integration between Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi.
