Thomas Jonathan Ossoff (born February 16, 1987), often known as Tony Ossoff is a Novanglian politician serving as Member of Parliament (MP) for the Montana constituency since November 7, 2020. He is also currently serving as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Sport, Media, Civil Society and Youth, which is a junior position within the Novanglian Department for Culture, Media and Sport. Before going into politics, he was a documentary filmmaker and journalist. Ossoff is descended from Jewish Slavs presumably from the United Commonwealths or Russia, he is also a prominent member in the Jewish Novanglian community that makes up around 0.9% of the population.
Born in the capital Coldtain, he was raised in the city of Novgrod, all in the province of Rangeland famous for its large population descended from Slavic immigrants. Ossoff studied in both the Hawkinsville School of Economics, where he earned a Master of Science and the New Chelmsford University. He was elected MP in the election of 2020, one that saw the rise of Diane Morgan to the Ministry, being the first Prime Minister of the Radical Civic Union since Paul McCartney in 1999. Morgan appointed him to his current office in the Departement of Culture shortly after the election. Despite his young age, Ossoff has been open about considering the idea of eventually running for the Leadership of the R.C.U. and because of this, he has been compared to McCartney himself who started in a similar position.
