The Principality of Transylvania is a province of the Empire of Romania.

History[]

Romania was one of the hardest hit nations in the eastern bloc. It fragmented into several little states after the war. The local Communist parties tried holding on to southern by Romanian but they were overthrown by rebels led by a grocery store clerk and anti communist activist named Vlad Bălan.. Despite have no evidence Vlad claimed to be a descendant of the house of Drăculești. Thus Vlad established the principality of Transylvanian and crowned Vald the VIII.In 2005 Vlad the VIII reached an agreement with the rulers of several neighboring Kingdoms and Transylvanian thus became of a founding member of the Empire of Rommania. Vlad the VIII died in 2017 and was succeed by his son Vlad the IX.

Economy[]

The economy is primarily agricultural. Tourism has been a growing industry in recent years. Three textile mills and two steel mills have opened post World War 3. Industria Aeronautică Română reopened in 2012. At first they just produced helicopters but an upgraded version of the IRA 99 started production in 2018.

Education[]

The University of Brascov was founded in 1999.

Public Transportation[]

The principality has a network of buses. Roads are bad shape. Currently there is air travel in American except for freight police and military use but there are plans to build an airport in Brasov.

Government[]

Transylvania is a province of Romania but it has it own parliament. It is a stronghold of the Imperial Liberty Party.

Culture[]

Transylvanian culture is primary Romanian with strong Hungarian and German influences.

Transylvania takes great pride in Gothic architecture.

Transylvania has strong literary movement. Transylvanian is partiality know for its horror novels.

Healthcare[]

Thyroid cancer has not been a major problem since 2014.
