History[]

After the Turkish government accepted an unconditional surrender in 1921, representatives of each nation had finally convened in Ankara in 1923, now almost fully rebuilt from the battle years before. The purpose of the meeting is for a formal treaty to establish a foundation on the future of the Anatolian peninsula and to officially end the conflict.

Points of the Treaty[]

  • Turkey and its governance will be placed under jurisdiction by the “Assembly of Anatolia”, supported by the Temporary Occupation Force of Anatolia (TOFA) for up to three years.
    • TOFA will consist of the armies of Russia, Greece, and Turkey (which will be temporarily reduced to 80,000 men) as the core base. Additional armies currently stationed in Anatolia post-treaty such as those from Denmark, Rashidi Caliphate, or Imperial Federation who remain could also be counted as part of TOFA but does not have to be referred to as such unless stated otherwise.
    • On the map, the area of occupation will be shown as controlled by Greece. But in reality it is controlled by TOFA and its associates. But the territory of Antalya will be acquired by Greece.
    • Any policies enacted by any nation during the occupation prior to the treaty would apply.
  • All current ships in the Turkish navy will be surrendered to Russia.
  • After the four-year occupation period is met, there will be a transition period for the next two to towards a post-war Turkish society. Making a total of six years.
  • Any further possible changes related to territory, economy, or military of the region will be conceived in a separate treaty in 1926/1927. This hypothetical treaty will be attached as the Treaty of Adana.
