The Treaty of Brannau officialy ended the First War of Bavarian Unification, which started when the Dukes of Bavaria-Landshut, Bavaria-Strauberg and Bavaria-Ingolstadt refused to swear fealty to the Archduke of Austria. The War ended with a decisive Austrian Victory,
Terms[]
- Hostilities Will end Between the Archduchy of Austria and the Duchies of Bavaria-Strauberg and Bavaria-Landshut
- The Territories of Bavarian Duchies Party to this conflict will be Integrated into Austrian Bavaria.
- The Dukes of Bavaria-Landsut and Bavaria-Strauberg will swear eternal Oaths of Fealty to Albert, his Heirs and Successors and abdicate their Ducal Titles to Albert V & II.
- The Dukes of Bavaria-Lanshut and Bavaria-Strauberg will recognize Albert V & II of Austria and Bavaria as a scion of House Wittelsbach and its true head.
- Albert V & II's noble house will officialy be known henceforth as von Habsburg-Wittelsbach.
