The Treaty of Cologne was a peace treaty signed in the Prince-Archbishopric of Cologne (to be changed if refused) in 1452 that ended the Second War of the Lions.
Terms[]

Territorial changes in the Treaty of Cologne.
- Silesia and Sorbia will be ceded to Brandenburg from Bohemia.
- Slovakia (including OTL Carpatho-Ukraine) will be ceded to Poland as a vassal from Hungary. (Re-addition supported by Skymod and Natemod)
- Brandenburg and Poland will give some monetary compensation for the ceded territories.
- Emperor Wenceslaus will remain neutral in matters of succession for Imperial states, and will provide no support, official or unofficial, to any potential party.
- The Elector of Saxony, Margraviate of Meissen, and County of Nürnburg will be released from Bohemian vassalage.
- Bohemia will provide monetary compensation to Austria, Brunswick-Lüneburg, and Thuringia.
- All participants agree to a 50 year non-aggression pact with Bohemia.
(due to the mods, including nathan, edge, and rex saying the hungary clause was implausible and my own reservations to the matter the clause has been removed from the treaty, if the other players have an issue with this change they can speak to myself or the mods. ) With Blood and Iron (talk) 18:16, September 11, 2016 (UTC)
potential admentments.[]
- The rights to the succession of hungary will be ceded to the house of Hapsburg.
These amendments will only be added upon discussion between the players and mods and added afterwards after negotiations. for now the clauses that have been left in terms are the only ones considered canon. With Blood and Iron (talk) 18:21, September 11, 2016 (UTC)
The Slovakia deal seems acceptable but I personally dislike the idea of the succession of hungary being ceded to the Habsburg monarchs. This would place Hungarians directly into HRE politics further, after they suffered due to HRE politics. Breaking the PU would be a good idea but a personal union being created between a different HRE entity seems unlikely. SkyGreen24 20:08, September 11, 2016 (UTC)
Not really, The Sister of the Bohemian/Hungarian King is Married to the Habsburg Monarch, and the Mother of the Archduke circa 1455. That clause is effectively saying that The kingdom is going to be passed down along the line of person X. Especially since primogeniture was not set 100% in stone at this point in time (read Habsburg succession of Hungary in OTL by being sons-in-law to the previous monarch), this clause is actually quite plausible, especially if the Habsburgs want to combat italy and grow their own power base, Especially since Bohemian Crown, which is united to the Hungarian Crown, got defeated so badly, and this is effectively Austria's only demand, and its enactment is delayed upon the death of Wenceslaus V, this is actually quite a medieval-style demand. And since its technically the same bloodline inheriting Hungary, its effectively a formalized gavelkind-type succession. Europeans in this time were very bloodline-happy, and breaking the Bohemian/Hungarian rule requires an alternative heir, which they will find in Austria
Add to the Fact that Hungary is a large part of Bohemia's power base, and the purpose of this treaty is to nullify most of that and grow the power base of the Red Lions Pact, Changing the ownership of Hungary from the Bohemian to Austrian Crowns is a very good idea, practically speaking. -Lx (leave me a message) 20:34, September 11, 2016 (UTC)
It makes even more sense if you think that The HRE does not want hungary to become an adverserial player in politics. Putting hungary under one of the Red Lions is a perfect way to pacify a potential threat. The War was against the Bohemian Crown as much as it was a revolt against the Emperor, and part of the Bohemian Crown was Hungary, thus making it valid spoils of war.-Lx (leave me a message)
The mods are aware of my support for this amendment, so my agreement with what Lx has said goes unsaid. But if there's no opposition to the Slovakia term, then I'd like to re-add it. I am that guy (talk) 20:47, September 11, 2016 (UTC)
Seeing no further objections, is it safe to assume the succession of Hungary can be added, perhaps with a second clause saying that hungary is not obligated to participate in wars unless Austrian Crown is attacked or existance threatened?-Lx (leave me a message) 13:05, September 14, 2016 (UTC)
