Treaty of Jerba (Principia Moderni IV Map Game)

The Treaty of Jerba formally ended the state of war between the Sultanate of Maghreb and the Italian League that existed from 1762 to 1765, as part of the larger Seven Years' War.

Terms

• The Sultanate of Maghreb shall honor all the terms of the previous Treaty of Rabat.
• The city of Tripoli, who had been made an independent city state, before its sovereignty was seemingly trampled by Maghreb (even if unintentionally), shall be granted to the Italian League as a protectorate with a high level of autonomy.
• The Sultanate of Maghreb shall recognize the Italian League's rule over Tunis, Tripoli, and the cities previously rules by France under lease from Maghreb.
• The Sultanate of Maghreb shall pay additional reparations for its hostile invasion, in addition to the more moderate reparations it already pays as per the Treaty of Rabat.
