The Treaty of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch was a settlement between the Celtic Confederacy (and its respective members, the Kingdoms of Scotland, Wales and Ireland) and the Lancastrian side, the current rulers of the Kingdom of England, right after the opposite Yorkist side had been driven once and for all out of London and forced to retreat to Yorkshire and the greater area of Northern England, in the still ongoing conflict of the War of the Roses. This treaty was negotiated in 1498 and finally drafted and signed in early 1499, to resolve differences over the disputed areas of the Duchies of Cornwall and Gloucester, once again guaranteeing peace and prosperity between the respective realms, as the numberous resurgences of the War of the Roses have largely protracted it, to span over 5 decades now, bleeding the Realm of England dry, rendering this settlement a dire necessity for the exhausted Lancastrians, who albeit reluctant, have no other choice than to agree to yet another favourable treaty towards the Celtic Confederacy (and its respective members), in order to allow their country to finally recovery out of this gruesome and prolonged conflict.

Terms

  • The Celtic Confederacy and its respective members, the Kingdoms of Scotland, Wales and Ireland and the Kingdom of England henceforth agree to a peace treaty that concludes (this phase of) the War of the Roses under the following terms.
    • The Kingdom of England reaffirms their recognition of the suzerainty of the Celtic Confederacy and its Ameraudur Edward IV (Bruce) over the respective Kingdoms of Scotland, Wales and Ireland as well as the Duchy of Cornwall and the Viscounty of the Isles of Scilly. More specifically:
      • The Kingdom of England reaffirms their recognition of the complete independence of the Kingdom of Wales from England and renounces once again any territorial or suzerainty claims it might hold over the Realm of Wales. Additionally the Kingdom of England recognizes Wales as a Kingdom once again, in line with King Edmund I of Wales's proclamation of his realm as a Kingdom over 3 decades ago, instead of a Principality that it used to be.
      • The Kingdom of England reaffirms their recognition of the complete independence of the Scotland from England and renounces once again any territorial or suzerainty claims it might hold over the Realm of Scotland.
      • The Kingdom of England reaffirms their recognition of the complete independence of the High Kingdom of Ireland (Eiru) from England and renounces once again any territorial or suzerainty claims it might hold over the Realm of Ireland (Eiru).
      • The Kingdom of England reaffirms their recognition of the complete independence of the Isle of Mann from England and renounces any territorial or suzerainty claims it might hold over the Isle of Mann.
      • The Kingdom of England reaffirms their recognition of the complete independence of the Lordship of the Isles of Scilly from England and renounces any territorial or suzerainty claims it might hold over the Lordship of the Isles of Scilly.
    • Furthermore the Kingdom of England recognizes Micheal Joseph "An Gof", the supported candinate of the Celtic Confederacy (and its respective members), as the new Duke of Cornwall, who is claiming this duchy based on the right of conquest, in the absence of any other kind of authority in the region, as the previous Duke of Cornwall, Edward VII, was also simultaneously the King of England, that has now been deposed after London was recaptured, has also effectively vacated his title as the previous Duke of Cornwall with his retreat to Yorkshire, thus the title of Duke of Cornwall essentially now lays vacant. With this agreement, effective rule over the Duchy of Cornwall is given back to its native nobility.
      • Apart from that, the Kingdom of England recognizes the complete independence of the Duchy of Cornwall from England and renounces any territorial or suzerainty claims it might hold over the Duchy of Cornwall, in return for the Celtic Confederacy (and its respective members) to hand over military control over the occupied Duchy of Gloucester back to the Kingdom of England.
      • Additionally the Lordship of the Isles of Scilly is admitted as a feudality of the Duchy of Cornwall.
      • Finally the Duchy of Cornwall in its entirety, is recognized by the Kingdom of England as the newest member state of the Celtic Confederacy.
