The Treaty of London was an agreement between the Kingdom of Great Britain and the Jaffarid Kingdom of Arabia to end the conflict known colloquially as the Arab Spring, or alternatively the Anglo-Arab War. It was signed between a delegation of statesmen from Damascus and the British parliament in the city of London in 1881.
Terms of the Treaty[]
- All conflict between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and the Kingdom of Arabia and their respective allies shall cease.
- The Beyrut Accords are declared illegally produced and nullified.
- The City of Aden is annexed by the Kingdom of Arabia and Port George is annexed by the Kingdom of Egypt and all personnel not citizens of those nations return to their home countries.
- Britain shall not disrespect or violate any of the sovereign territory of Arabia or its citizens abroad including its territorial waters in the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf.
- A similar agreement is made for Egypt. (Colgan can define his territory).
- Arabia shall not disrespect or violate any of the sovereign territory of the United Kingdom of Great Britain or its citizens abroad including any of their external colonies.
- Arabia will not incite violence or encourage any insurgency within British domains and will utilize its center of power at the Holy Sites to pacify Islamic people within the British Empire.
Britain will sponsor Arabia's petition to be a signatory of the European Economic Area until such time as Arabia is completely resource independent.- The City of Gaza and surrounding area is given administration to Egypt.
- Great Britain will enter a defensive military alliance with Arabia, and come to its aid in case any of it becomes threatened.
- Great Britain will grant economic concessions to those involved in the Sepoy Mutiny, and grant their respective local Emirs more autonomy within the British Raj.
- The Northern Coast of British Swahili should downsize its military.
- Britain will withdraw from Egypt entirely, and demilitarize the Suez Canal.
- Anglo-Egyptian relations will be reworked, and the Anglo-Belkan Egypt agreement will nominally stay the same, but now excluding the terms above, along with a new trading arrangement being made.
- British Citizens in Egypt and Egyptian Citizens in Britain will be free to stay as long as they planned to.
- Egyptian students studying in London will remain, and the same arrangement will remain the same involving students studying abroad in Britain.
- British trading and merchant ships may freely pass through the Suez as they wish, though all military naval vessels are forbidden to enter the Suez without permission from either Egypt or Belka.
