The Treaty of Mann was a settlement between the Celtic Confederacy (and its respective members, the Kingdoms of Scotland, Wales and Ireland) and the Kingdom of England in the year 1489, in order to finalize the long awaited peace treaty between the respective realms as well as rectify disputes between them.

Terms

  • The Celtic Confederacy and its respective members, the Kingdoms of Scotland, Wales and Ireland and the Kingdom of England henceforth agree to a peace treaty that concludes (this phase of) the War of the Roses under the following terms.
    • The Kingdom of England recognizes the suzerainty of the Celtic Confederacy and its Ameraudur Robert II (Bruce) over the respective Kingdoms of Scotland, Wales and Ireland. More specifically:
      • The Kingdom of England recognizes the complete independence of the Kingdom of Wales from England and renounces any territorial or suzerainty claims it might hold over the Realm of Wales. Additionally the Kingdom of England recognizes Wales as a Kingdom, in line with King Edmund I of Wales's proclamation of his realm as a Kingdom over 2 decades ago, instead of a Principality that it used to be.
      • The Kingdom of England recognizes the complete independence of the Scotland from England and renounces any territorial or suzerainty claims it might hold over the Realm of Scotland.
      • The Kingdom of England recognizes the complete independence of the High Kingdom of Ireland (Eiru) from England and renounces any territorial or suzerainty claims it might hold over the Realm of Ireland (Eiru).
      • The Kingdom of England recognizes the complete independence of the Isle of Mann from England and renounces any territorial or suzerainty claims it might hold over the Isle of Mann.
  • Furthermore as an adequate financial compensation for Anne Neville's exclusion from her father's inheritance due to an unfortunate string of unpleasant events during the War of the Roses, the Lordship of the Isles of Scilly shall be granted to her as a compensation. Furthermore her husband Duke Cadfael ap Alisdair (Bruce) of Gwynedd, who shall pay an adequate sum to purchase the suzerainty of said Lordship from the Kingdom of England for the Celtic Confederacy.
  • The titular rights of suzerainty over the Duchy of Britany, tracing back to the Angevin Empire and the English claims to the French throne are transfered to the Celtic Confederacy and its Ameraudur Robert II (Bruce), as the Kingdom of England institutes an act, declaring the seperation of the Duchy of Brittany from the French realm and the subsequently the transference of said rights, in his capacity as the rightfull ruler of the Kingdom of France, something which the Celtic Confederacy in turn recognizes (the English claims to the French throne)
    • This is basically metagaming and Britany would refuse to be your vassal anyway.
  • A military alliance is also henceforth established between the two respective realms, The Celtic Confederacy and its respective members, the Kingdoms of Scotland, Wales and Ireland and the Kingdom of England, with a royal marriage being arranged to bind the two realms perpetually in bonds of friendship and alliance between Ameraudur Robert II (Bruce)'s dynasty and King Edward VI of the House of York's dynasty, and in turn the Celtic Confederacy and its vassals recognizes the English claims to the French throne over the Capetian claims, tracing back to the Angevin Empire.
    • English Parliament also refuses this
