Treaty of Mylapore (Principia Moderni IV Map Game)

The Treaty of Mylapore was an agreement to break off parts of the Empire of Aryavarta at the conclusion of the Muslim-Hindu War, more coloquially known as the Golden Jihad. Due to the geography of the conflict, the treaty only extended to sheer territorial claims and did not offer any changes to politics, economy, or diplomacy, except for ending the war.

Terms of the treaty[]

The Emirate of Sindh becomes a vassal of Iran

- Aryavarta will retain control over the OTL state of West Bengal
- The former vassals of Bengal will go independent, under no subjugation whatsoever. They will be Hindu-Buddhist Kingdoms.
- Neither Hindus will be persecuted in Muslim states, nor Muslims persecuted in Hindu states created by this treaty
The Kindom of Kalinga becomes a vassal of Bahamani
The Andaman and Nicobar islands are ceded to the Rashidun
Aryavarta will pay reparations for five years

Discussion (OOC)[]

Bengal is independent. Not its northern vassals or Burma. Only Bengal is independent. Secondly Bengal doesnt have 300,000 troops. There are 10% Muslims in Aryavarta and that is 10 million so they have an army of 100,000. I had 50,000 troops there already and I should also be give a chance to put up my troop numbers. I swear Scraw had approved me having a 1 mil army. So I retain West Bengal and East Bengal is independent not its vassals. Also since there are 10 mil Muslims they create their own army and Hindus are not loyal to them. There are 100,000 Burmese troops and I will use them in the algo. Secondly I have clearly stated that there are 1300 ships in the Bay of Bengal so no Rashidun troops reach Bengal. You have adjusted my algo to 800,000 troops. Now there are another 200,000 and 100,000 Burmese. So due to me having only 1 million. There is no invasion of South Bahmani. As a result there are even more troops in Bengal.

There is no way there will be more than 10% Muslims in Aryavarta also Bengal has 10 million that is all the Muslims. No Hindus support the rebellion and they definitely do not join their army. Muslims ruled solidly for at least 400 years in India under the Mughals and still they were just 25% in 1947.

Aryavarta: The revolt in Bengal is crushed by the 50,000 troops and the police and also as the Bengalis had no leader and the Hindus didnt support them. The revolts in Hindu majority area quickly collapsed but certain districts offered stiff resistance. We sign the Truce of Chittagong. We give two islands of the AN islands to Oman and the rest is ceded to the Arabs. The armies return home after being defeated. The people are higly discontented with the king. Amar Singh, the CM is able to calm the people down and assures them. The nation begins rebuilding in Gujarat and Bahmani borderlands. Due to the logistical problems and the incapacity of the navy to defend the West coast, an enquiry committee is set up by the council. It advises the navy to raise its strength to 1900 ships from 1300 and the construction of border roads and bigger highways. The council decides to end the Muslim problem by creating a new nation. The Sultanate of Bengal is created which will be home to the 10 million Muslims. It will have its capital at Dacca and will consist of East Bengal. For 10 years it will be a tributary state and will subsequently. After two wars, the council decides not to trust the Arab Indian Company ever again. As a result of the creation of East Bengal our population drops to 100 million. Hindus move out of East Bengal.

No where does this in any way say that you sent 100,000 troops or any navy against Bengal. In fact, you just assumed it collapsed and ignored it. The statistics of Muslims in India is irrelevant as that has no bearing on the what the mod event said: Bengal broke away. Scraw and Feud have both confirmed in chat and on the game page that you have a MAX of 853,000 troops, which are already spent on every front.
