The Treaty of New Gwynedd was a peace treaty to end the conflict between the Burgundian Empire, Borealia, and its allies in the Pan-Arcadian Congress, and the former colonies affiliated with the British Empire in Arcadia; New England, Avalon and Savanna.
Terms[]
- Avalon will cede a portion of its northern territory in Quebec/Ontario, as well as its northwest most territory (north Manitoba), to Vinland. This territory will extend along the Sint Lauwens river coast to the new border of Borealia north of Koebecstad.
The region of Montana/Wyoming, up to the border with Avalon and extending south to the northeast corner of Providence will be ceded to Arcadia.- All territory seized from Texas by Savanna and/or New England will be returned to Texas, in addition to a smaller section of territory along the Mississippi River.
- Maryland will retain the territory it traded from Savanna, but will also have the territory it ceded to Savanna returned, and the border will be adjusted between Savanna, Maryland, and Texas, with the new border being at the Altamaha River.
- The regions formerly owned by the Burgundian Empire and previously taken by the English will be restored to Borealia. This includes the enclave territory around the city of Bilzen and the Sint Lauwens River region, or more specifically the Gaspe Peninsula to Koebecstad, to Manchester, to the mouth of Lake Ontario. Additionally the rectangular territory extending from and including the cities of Buffelstad and Wilmington, in order to secure the border between Borealia and New England, will be ceded.
- Borealia will ensure that its newly acquired territory will be guaranteed statehood and full representation/autonomy within the government, within a five year period after this treaty.
Avalon, New England and Savanna will pay indemnities to the Pan-Arcadian Congress nations and to Burgundy.Avalon, New England and Savanna will reform their governmental systems, in essence rejecting the monarch of Great Britain as their heads of state, and becoming full republics.Additionally, all three nations will make no attempts to unify into a single state, or to combine in any way, and shall renounce their alliances with each other.- The nations of the Pan-Arcadian Congress will make steps to integrate the nations of Avalon, New England, and Savanna through trade and other means, if these states are willing to receive such aid. Additionally neither party will make any attempt to infringe on trade in shared waterways, such as the Sint Lauwens or Mississippi River. The Pan-Arcadian Congress unrestricted military access along these same waterways.
- Aztlán's borders will remain unchanged.
