• History: The French came out of the 19th century the best among the various European nations that scattered the old world continent. The turning point for the French came with the crowning of Napoleon I Bonaparte, a simple Corsican man who rose from the ranks of the French Revolution to the Emperor of the French, and self proclaimed "Emperor of Europe." With all texts books inside the Empire referring to him as the first "True Caesar" in centuries. The 19th century was the century of French victory for the people of France and the great Empire. With an Empire spanning from Europe, to many places across the world (African holdings not shown in map). The 20th has proved no different for the French people as they are considered one of the key industrial power houses with a modern infrastructure that makes many nations jealous, a booming economy, and an ever growing working class. The French can hope that the second half of the 20th century that is soon approaching them is just as beautiful and bright as the first half of it.

• History: The kingdom of Italy's history can be summarized in one word in the modern day. Lackey. The Kingdom of Italy was one of the first nations conquered by Napoleon and French during his campaign(s) in Europe. Napoleon quickly trampled through the peninsula and installed his family members and close allies in power over the kingdom. The family that has been in charge for the past 140 years the Beauharnais family has been in charge and running the Kingdom of Italy, the family specifically chosen to real due to their allegiance and loyalty to the Napoleons. Though the Beauharnais rule over Italy with an iron fist, it is the Napoleons who truly rule over Italy. With all final decisions and actions being made by the Napoleons.

• History: After France's rise to Superpower status, Austria was forced to adapt, It grew militarily, and economically. Russia too feeling threatened by France's growth allied with the Austrians. The Habsburg's power was diminishing, Nationalism amongst the Slavs and Hungarians grew. Around 1870s the Slavs and Hungarians declared independence, this started off the Great Danubian War lasting about 20 years, which ended with the independence of the Slavs and Hungarians. Austrian people outraged over this loss, ideas of revolution spread across Austria. By 1895, Hans Weber a Catholic priest wrote a new manifesto, called "Christus Volk" or "Christ's People" in German. The book describes that the German's are Gods chosen people, anyone else are lesser. The book also comes with the idea of a new reich which will last a thousand years, in where people will convert or perish, the country would be led by the "Groß Priester", or "Great Priest". This new radical ideology spread like wildfire amongst the Austrian people. On April 8th, 1900 the Austrian Empire officially ended when Rebels entered the Hofburg, and slaughtered the entire Austrian royal family. Friedrich Hosch, a leading figure in the Austrian Revolution, was elected by the Christian Council, as the Groß Priester. Hosch's rule was a violent and backwards one, anyone who denounced the new government was slaughtered, atheists and heathens were burned alive, and were their books. at the start of the Great War, Austria reluctantly offered to join France's side if they could take back Hungary, Galicia, Bosnia, and Croatia. The French agreed. The future of Austria is uncertain.

Turn 3 (Mr. Orwell)

• Government: Racist Conservative Democratic Republic
• Capital City: Richmond, Virginia

• History: The US after the Napoleonic Wars was in a strange place. The French Conquest of Europe and the Collapse of the Coalitional Front. The US began to become very shaky under the Presidency of Democrat Andrew Jackson. While pro-slavery and the one who would launch the trail of tears, the Panic of 1837 spilled over into a large economic depression lead to William Henry Harrison of the Whig Party being elected as President over Incumbent Martin van Buren. Harrison would die in office a month after being elected leading to John Tyler becoming US President. However, the admittance of Missouri as a Slave State enraged the North even after Maine was granted as a Free State. In 1852 following the Mexican Conflict the USA broke. California admitted as a huge Slave State with Texas while adding none to the North toppled the balance of Power. The Northerners rebelled as the Free States of America. The US died. Followed in its wake by extremely pro-Slavery and pro-States Rights Democrats formed the reformed the Federalist Party. The Confederation of American States was born. James Buchanan was elected President of the CAS following the quick dissolution of the Union. The flag was known as the Stars and Bars and came from Major J.P. Gills from the state of Jefferson in the West Coast States. The CAS consolidated and expanded in the late 19th Century taking Liberia, the US slave return colony, parts of Northern Mexico, and had annexed Cuba, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, and Hawaii all by 1900. A short war against Colombia had subjugated Confederate control over Panama. Under President Benjamin Jackson Wellington made the CAS begin construction on two massive canals in Central America. The Slave Labor used in this cost tens of thousands their lives but the White Population and the corporations didn't care. Only the Communalist Party and its leader Greg Gunther cared but they only achieved up to .5% of the vote. In 1932 Slavery was abolished to many's dismay yet was replaced by President Hugh Longman. Now in 1944 Storm Thunderman of the Confederationist Party won the latest election and with every major Power on the grasp of a Nuclear Bomb, the CAS enters the global stage against its primary enemy, France and the FSA.
