Concepcion, or United Provinces of Concepcion (Portuguese: Províncias Unidas de Conceição) is a nation in South Vinhaard. It is a strong cultural country, and occupies the Río de la Plata Basin. The west of your country is a mountainous place where lies the Andes.
Its president is Ademar Benevides, politician coming from the working class, his party is the PTC (Partido dos Trabalhadores de Conceição/Workers' Party of Concepcion).

Demographics[]
The population of Concepcion, as recorded by the 2008 ICDG, was approximately 64 million, and 89% of the population defined as urban. The population is heavily concentrated in the East (22.3 million inhabitants) and the Far-East (39.1 million inhabitants) regions, while the Center is the less populated area (3.2 million inhabitants), and the West (9 million inhabitants).
Ethnicity[]
The country's ethnic groups are quite varied, as there are descendants of immigrants Lusitanians, Romans, Germans, Slavs, indigenous people and others. Most of the population is descended from the Lusitanians (43%) and Romans (20%).
Religion[]
Although the state is secular, most of the country is Catholic (84%), followed by Protestants with almost 9% of followers and devotees and then in a group of 5% of atheists and agnostics. The native religions, however much they try to re-establish it, contains only 1.3% of followers. Other religions remain gathered in 0.9%.
There is a law in the country, which fits any ideological or religious extremism. The law, passed in 2005, has reported more than 250k inhabitants of Concepcion.

Language[]
The official language of Concepcion is the Portuguese, and it is spoken by practically the entire population in several different accents. The most common variation of Portuguese in Concepcion is the Andean Portuguese (Portuguese: Português Andino).
The second most spoken language in Concepcion is the Guarani, especially in indigenous tribes concentrated in the north. The language is official in the provinces of Baixo Chaco, Guarany, Mesopotamia, and the Autonomous District.

The culture of Concepcion is derived from Lusitanian culture, because of its strong colonial ties with the Lusitanian empire. Among other influences, the Lusitanian introduced the Portuguese language, Roman Catholicism and colonial architectural styles. The culture was, however, also strongly influenced by Indigenous and non-Portuguese European cultures and traditions.

The music was strongly influenced by Europeans, from the Concepcian Popular Music, or Conceipop, Concepcian Rock, and the Concepcian Disco.
Conceipop[]
The Conceipop emerged in the mid-60, and with it, many singers have also emerged, such as Marcos Freguesia, Elza Martins, Tenorio de Souza, Patricia Vale, among others.
One of the main appearances of conceipop movement was the protest against the rock that was spreading throughout the country, and also against the dictatorship which was in force the country at the time.
Several songs were successful during the dictatorship used at protests, like "Como Nossos Pais", recorded by Elza Martins, "Apesar de Você", by Gustavo Lêmure, and "Para Não Dizer Que Não Falei Das Flores", by Carlos Montana.

Concepcian rock[]
The Rock of Conception is the most popular style of music in the country. The most popular musical genres are progressive Rock and Punk Rock, respectively. The best-selling album in the country is "Echoes", the progressive rock band T-Sigma.
Another great rock musician in the country is Joel Villagrande, singer, makes great success in the country since the 70s.
A punk rock band in the country is the Vindos da Estrada, which made a big hit among the 80's and the 90's, especially with the album Domínio Público.
Concepcian disco[]
The disco in Concepcion is quite popular. The greatest singer of the genre is Margarida Li, with the album "Saída no Pico". Even though popular, is not as influential genre as it was in the 1980s, when it disputed eye-to-eye with the rock and the punk movement.
Sport[]
The most popular sport in Conception is the association football. The country was world champion in the sport, and is considered an emerging team. The second most influential country sport is basketball, despite not having been world champion. The biggest championship of the country is the Football League, and their biggest teams are the Santo Antonio, Genesis, and the Mesopotamianos.
