The United States, officially known as the United States of America and often nicknamed US, USA, U.S., U.S.A., or simply just America, is a somewhat vast yet still well-known nation in eastern North America that evolved from the British Dominion of Virginia (OTL: Colony of Virginia) on July 4, 1626 during the Great Deliberation (1612-1632 AD). It and Italy are currently the only countries with North American territory to be a part of the European Council (OTL: European Union), of which the latter was a founding member.
