Universe X is an alternate timeline that's primarily set in the South American continent (called ''Columbia ''in this alternate timeline), but is more global due to the effects emanating from the latter continent and its northern neighbor (i.e. ''North America'', also known as the continent of ''America ''in this timeline). The point of divergence goes back all the way to the '''''Anglo-Spanish War of 1654''''', where Spain suffered even more severely than in OTL. In this timeline, the war does not end in 1660, but continues all the way to 1664, allowing the British to hammer the ''Spanish Empire ''for much longer than in OTL. During the conference that would end this war - ''Treaty of Barcelona'', the delegates of the King of Spain - ''Charles II ''(ruler of the Spanish Empire from 1665 - 1700) would sign over the colony of ''Nuevo Grenada ''(which England would split into 10 different colonies), which would later be renamed ''Columbia ''by the British. ''Columbia ''would become an official name for all ten colonies in what was then a new British colony.

Universe X is an alternate timeline that's primarily set in the South American continent (called Columbia in this alternate timeline), but is more global due to the effects emanating from the latter continent and its northern neighbor (i.e. North America, also known as the continent of America in this timeline). The point of divergence goes back all the way to the Anglo-Spanish War of 1654, where Spain suffered even more severely than in OTL. In this timeline, the war does not end in 1660, but continues all the way to 1664, allowing the British to hammer the Spanish Empire for much longer than in OTL. During the conference that would end this war - Treaty of Barcelona, the delegates of the King of Spain - Charles II (ruler of the Spanish Empire from 1665 - 1700) would sign over the colony of Nuevo Grenada (which England would split into 10 different colonies), which would later be renamed Columbia by the British. Columbia would become an official name for all ten colonies in what was then a new British colony.
