Duplication
Greetings. Recently, you have uploaded a file on this site that is a duplication of another. Please keep in mind that many of the files found across Wikimedia have also been uploaded to this site — all under the same names and types. These files can easily be found by searching for the file's name in the search bar. If you are using the "visual" mode for editing and uploading, please be advised that you will be required to use underscores (_
) instead of spaces when searching for a file (e.g., "Flag_of_Canada.svg" and not "Flag of Canada.svg"). In the event that the file you require is not already uploaded to this site, it would be very appreciated that you upload the standard file used on Wikimedia as a courtesy to current and future users.
The following uploads have have been removed from this site, and have been replaced with the following correct files:

Bantu Genocide
Hello!
Recently, your timeline Bantu Genocide caused a still among some users who felt a bit offended by it. I am not against the timeline existing, but I will have to put following terms unless you want the timeline to be marked as ASB - Biased:
1.) Nothing except Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Southern Mozambique may be more white
2.) A warning to warn for potentially offensive content.
Sorry for the problem. Come to http://althistory.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Chat for anything. Deadly State of Mind (talk) 20:21, December 16, 2016 (UTC)

Hi, you are right in what you said but I'm going to have to revert your correction as the template seems to have gone wonky. I'll try and correct it in the next couple of days. Thanks! Yan Hoek (talk) 15:19, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
The German Century: Media
Greetings DasBull$,
I am Baron Joshua and have come to offer some work on The German Century timeline. Namely in media as German films of the 1910s, 20s and 30s are of an interest to me (My favorite film is Metropolis and 'The Titanic' is my favorite version of the story, I prefer it over the Leo DeCaprio film). I've even made some articles on cartoons made in Germany during the 1940s on another wiki. Since you have heads of state and nations figured out I'd like to expand detail in aother area; media.
In OTL Media has largely been 'American' dominated. I'd like to, for The German Century, change that. My clearest and present idea involves the following; Raumpatrouille: Die phantastischen Abenteuer des Raumschiffes Orion takes the place Star Trek holds in OTL though possibly (I'll let you be the judge) with some alterations to names or set up. I choose Raumpatroulle as it began airing the same year as Star Trek in OTL but only lasted 7 episodes for reasons unknown. In my mind Raumpatroulle of this timeline would continue to run despite production costs and other factors much as Star Trek struggled and acquire a standing fan base while Star Trek was canceled much as it was threatend with multiple times in OTL. In short the two shows take each others place as we understand it; Star Trek lasting briefly but Raumpatroulle going strong.
This is the clearest of my ideas and I'll likely devise other concepts if my aid is accepted. If not, you may openly use this recomendation :) I've only recently discovered your timeline and it has my interest so just seeing it expand is enough for me (even if I don't agree with everything laid out I still enjoy the read and have no desire to dispute anything in it as I enjoy what you've done). Baron Joshua (talk) 23:50, January 18, 2018 (UTC)
Greetings Baron Joshua,
I like your ideas. If you like, I can grant you permission to work on this timeline. I haven't been able to work on it since I have been working on another timeline I had created, Alexander the Liberator.
DasBull$ (talk) 22:59, January 21, 2018 (UTC)
I will greatly appreciate being granted such permission and will be sure to present my ideas as proposals. It is unfortunate that it took me 9 days to realize that I had a response :) I will say I've been enjoying Alexander the LIberator. Be sure to let me know when I have your permission to begin work on the project. Baron Joshua (talk) 23:39, January 30, 2018 (UTC)
Timing in regards to me discovering this response came at a great time. This week I've been adding articles on German films to another wiki (all of thse I have added ) with sunday night's viewing being Der Hund von Baskerville though I was unable to find it with English subtitles (my ability to understand and speak german is mild). To me the 40s (after Germany's defeat) saw the real decline of the German Film Industry so with the German Century Timeline I have a lot to consider regarding the 40s and 50s in media and thus elaboration on society during the 40s and 50s post WWII can assist me. I'm fairly sure that Raumpatroulle will still emerge (this time during the Chancellorship of Albert Speer following the Chancellorship of Karl Donitz. Which I see as indication of a social shift which I'd like to have elaboration on. Baron Joshua (talk) 23:56, January 30, 2018 (UTC)
Here is my first proposal; Raumpatrouille: Die phantastischen Abenteuer des Raumschiffes Orion. If approved I am willing to make an article regarding the cancellation of Star Trek and (in another reference to Raumpatrouille's fate in OTL) the blunder that was (in this timeline) a 2001 film adeptation of Star Trek based on the cancelled 1966 series. Baron Joshua (talk) 00:49, January 31, 2018 (UTC)
Ah, sorry, just noticed the ill link- here is the healthy link . Baron Joshua (talk) 22:19, January 31, 2018 (UTC)
Having heard nothing back from you, I'd like to say that the film's plot can be altered. I've not been able to get ahold of the stories published in Terra magazine. Baron Joshua (talk) 22:32, February 3, 2018 (UTC)
Dear Baron Joshua,
I apologize that it took me a while to respond. I do really like what you have contributed and you have my approval to add more if you like. DasBull$ (talk) 16:47, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
I am pleased by this approval, and will do my utmost to keep in the paramaters of the timeline. My present plans are to find other shows that are similiar to American or British productons but didn't do as well and flipping that in this timeline. Another plan is to find cases where German influence in foriegn media could have taken root- for example- and this is someting I'd like to get your OK on before starting- Star Wars. Star Wars had numorous scripts and it seems to be something the community hear likes to speculate on. But the details, the main detail (other details such as the Empire will take more consideration) I want to address is C-3PO's appearance. I'd like in the German Century for his appearance to be one from an earlier concept of the character- a concept inspired by the German classic 'Metropolis'; this appearance .(do ignore the Photobucket ads). It's based on Maria "Hel" Futura from the 1927 film. This alteration is just one example of ways we can slip German inflruences into foriegn productions. This is one way to demostrate the social influence Germany has had on the world in the timeline. Baron Joshua (talk) 21:17, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
Having had time to consider Star Wars a bit more I can say that another alteration I am considering is in regards to the Empire. In an early draft the Galaxy was an Empire, ruled by a mostly benevolent Emperor, until the Knights of the Sith disposed and replaced him with the help of powerful trade barons. The Emperor, Imperial Senate, etc would have all existed prior to the first film. In a sense the Empire seems to be similiar in government to the Greater German Empire and not 'evil' for the sake of evil. It's not evil by nature but situation. I imagine the prequels would still introduce a Chancellor furthering the simularities- essentially the galaxy is just Space Germany. That's what I'm currently considering. Baron Joshua (talk) 13:17, February 24, 2018 (UTC)
I am actually in favor of the idea that you have presented to me. Think of it, this version of Star Wars could be seen as a patriotic film in Germany considering the similiarities it has to the world in the timeline. In the idea you have presented to, this German version of Star Wars could be the heroes fighting for the Emperor and not against him. DasBull$ (talk) 18:34, February 24, 2018 (UTC)
This is great news, and I'll get started tough I can tell that I wasn't as clear on the concept as I could have been and thus the impression you have may not exacally fit- but I will get the page going and will edit and rework it as need be. Again, there where many drafts for star wars and my aim here is to take elements from the various drafts and early concept art and create something very germanized. I have no doubt it'll be well recieved in the Greater German Empire and that the prequels will indeed be as you state- the heroes fighting for the Emperor against powerful trade lords that could be seen as representing British Trade Companies (West India Company, East India Company, South African Company, etc) - I'm sure it'll be an amazing series though ending in the rise of the 'New Empire'.(what the Empire was called in one of those early drafts where the Galaxy was an Empire before The Star Wars)- I"ll get started and await your review of the content after posting. I'll explain and we'll discuss and better it. I'm rather excited ^_^ Baron Joshua (talk) 20:30, February 24, 2018 (UTC)
I do feel somber about not having finished the Star Wars page for the German Century. While I'm still not yet ready to complete the page I have continued my research into German films form the 1930s primarily but not exlusively. I do feel that Battleship Sevastopol: White Slaves is the closest to a true epic I've found from the 30s and I have the feeling that even in your timeline it'd exist unaltered. I just wanted to provide you with an update to let you know that I haven't forgotten the project but have rather been distracted while still from time to time compiling research notes on another wiki (in the form of articles for that wiki). - Christian VIII of Denmark (The Danish North Sea) -- NuclearVacuum
04:55, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
Hi,
As much as I appreciate any contributions, Christian VIII of Denmark (The Danish North Sea) is meant to be named Christian Frederick. Christian Frederick is based off of the real King Christian VIII, but this Christian Frederick is still a fictional character. His ancestry for example is different than the real Christian VIII and so is his biography. I used the portrait of the real Christian Frederick to represent this fictional monarch. I basically used portraits of real life royals to represent my list of Kings. Yan Hoek has done this for his list of monarchs in his timeline The Kalmar Union (for example, King Frederick II of Wessex-Normandy is represented by a photograph of the real life OTL Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence and Avondale, Duke of Clarence and Avondale). A similar thing was done for the timeline Jacobite Glory, were the fictional monarchs of Scotland are represented by portraits of real life British royals. I hope that I am not breaking any rules of the website. DasBull$ (talk) 17:01, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
Kalmar Kings
Hi, thanks for your help! There are two different royalty info templates - 'Infobox Royalty' and 'Infobox royalty'. The uppercase 'Royalty' one stopped working properly a while back. The lowercase 'royalty' one works fine and I do mean to go back over the god knows how many monarch pages I've written to make sure they are all using the right one. Yan Hoek (talk) 08:52, February 23, 2018 (UTC)
Re:Christian Frederick
My apologies, I wasn't aware of the context. A lot of users have been misnaming monarchs, so I assumed it was just another one.
The reason I protected the page is because you reverted the page back. In the future, do not revert an edit made by an admin. As you just did, all you'd have to do is inform me of the circumstances and I would've been more than happy to revert it back.
I have also removed the deletion request, but I can add it back if you really want it. Once again, my sincerest apologies. -- NuclearVacuum 03:59, February 24, 2018 (UTC)
Alexander the Liberator
Hey User:DasBull$!
I wanted to tell you that I really enjoy reading your Alexander the liberator timeline! The scenario and the nations are awesome and I love reading about them! The world is different from our own, with Russia still a monarchy, and the western world communist! It’s all unique and fun to read! If I can help with any pages, just let me know! Colgan dog (talk) 17:35, March 31, 2018 (UTC)
Hello User:Colgan dog,
I want to personally thank you for you kind words. I was personally interested to see what the world would be like if the Cold War was fought between a Communist America and a Tsarist Russia, and I am glad to hear that someone has enjoyed the timeline. If you are interested in contributing (such as creating an article), you have my permission. DasBull$ (talk) 18:28, March 31, 2018 (UTC)
You’re very much welcome! And by article do you mean a proposal page or a canonical article?
I prefer proposal until I am able to review it. DasBull$ (talk) 19:42, March 31, 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I was just asking if you’ve seen my Chiapas proposal for Alexander the Liberator? I have so many ideas for it! Colgan dog (talk) 18:47, April 3, 2018 (UTC)
Hello,
I have just noticed your Chiapas proposal for the Alexander the Liberator timeline. I am personally intrigued by your idea and I have decided to remove the proposal tag and incorporate it into the timeline. Just remember, if it is Communist or Socialist it is supported by Communist America. If it is nationalist it is supported by Russia. I am glad to have you on board the Alexander the Liberator train. Alexander the Liberator II
Hey DasBull$,
I have been reading your Alexander the Liberator timeline for a while now, and I must say I'm intrigued by the idea of a Russian monarchy that survived.
Coming to my point, I would love to do some political work as the Russian State Duma and elections. I also would like to create and work out the Netherlands page.

RE:Socialist States
In the future, please don't revert an edit made by an admin. Please explain the situation instead.
I have reverted it back, as the term "United Socialist States" doesn't appear to be necessary (any more than we formally say "Communist China" or the like). -- NuclearVacuum 23:24, May 13, 2018 (UTC)
I didn't mean to violate any rules, and I apologize for that. The reason I prefer the United Socialist States is to:
- Differentate from its predecessor, the United States of America. In this timeline, state propaganda would have demonised the previous regime as a "Capitalist cesspool" so I doubt that would use the term, "United States". The Marxist government would have prefered to add in the word "Socialist" (like the Socialist Republic of Romania and the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in our timeline).
- It's official name is the United Socialist States of America.
Once again, I didn't wish to violate any of the rules of the site nor did I wish to cross you. DasBull$ (talk) 00:12, May 14, 2018 (UTC)
- Nothing to worry about, just keep it in mind for the future.
- As for the name, I'm still inclined to say that "United States" would be more appropriate for the article.
- Please keep in mind that what I'm referring to is simply the colloquial name (not the official name). The name "United Socialist States of America" is perfectly fine and I'm not arguing for you to remove this. The discussion at hand is the colloquial name (the short name).
- Your arguments for Romania and Yugoslavia are correct, but only for the formal names. In practice (especially during their existence), they were simply referred to as "Romania" and "Yugoslavia" by the average person (including within them). All communist states continued to refer to themselves colloquially as before communism. The only exceptions are East Germany (due to the existence of West Germany) and the Soviet Union (for which "Russia" was a constituent state).
- In practice, my gut tells me that the name "United States" (or even "USSA") would be more commonly used colloquially both in and out of the USSA. The site rules requires the use of the colloquial name in articles for existing nations.
- I do hope that this makes sense for you. -- NuclearVacuum
01:18, May 14, 2018 (UTC)
- I get where you are coming from. When I think about it, I believe that more people would refer to the USSA as the "United States". I still believe that the USSA government propaganda would discourage the usage of the term, "United States", but nonetheless I believe that you are right.DasBull$ (talk) 14:51, May 16, 2018 (UTC)
2010: The When the Earth Stood Still
I am very much enjoying 2010 When the Earth Stood Still. It is cool to see something similar to 1983 doomsday, yet more relevant in the modern age. I have some ideas, if you would like to collborate with pages.
On the African part, it seems plausible so far. A free cape state seems most likely, due to the fact that Afriakneers have better economic status, have an agrarian survivalist outlook, and already have militias for a very bad event (technically for a genocide but you get the point.)
However, it is easy to assume the rest of Africa will be thrown into Chaos due to need food aid. I have an idea; I could create a page for a German nation in former Namibia (it will be sort of like a city state.) I wouldn't rule out doing multiple german city states, and several warlord states on the edges if approved.
Thanks,
Warrior
Hello Warrior,
First, I would like to thank you for your kind words. I loved 1983: Doomsday and I wanted to create my own nuclear apocalypse timeline. I have had trouble, since I had created two previous nuclear apocalypse timelines (Nuclear Apocalypse: 2014 and 1962: The War to End all Wars of the World) and I wasn't very pleased with them. They were completely unrealistic (especially 2014) and I just disliked them. I created 2010 as something of a more modernized 1983DD.
Anyway, as for your request. With the fall of Western civilization, the nations of Africa would likely fall apart due to lack of economic and food aid. South Africa is a special topic, since racial tensions have gotten far worse in recent years (partly thanks to a special Mr. Malema). The regime led by the African National Congress is corrupt, and I expect the South African state to fall apart in our timeline unless someone can truly lead the country on a better path. Anyway, since I expect OTL South Africa to fall apart, I believe that this South Africa could definitely collapse as a result of a nuclear war. The collapse of international trade and foreign aid would cripple the economy of South Africa, and combined with the already crippled race relations, South Africa would fall. I really like your proposal, and you have my approval to contribute to the 2010 timeline. I am glad to have you on board. DasBull$ (talk) 01:01, July 5, 2018 (UTC)
Request to Join 2010: The Day Earth Stood Still
I'm particulary familiar with the Southeast Asia and the Far East region. As of 2010, the following are the allies of the United States in the area: Philippines, South Korea, Japan, Singapoe, Thailand, Australia, and ROC (de facto). Would be great if I could make articles on them.
Gillan1220 (talk) 04:33, July 11, 2018 (UTC)
Yes, I will grant you permission to work in Asia and the Far East. However, I already have some plans for Japan. Forgive me if I sound rude, but I would like to ask if you could stay away from Japan. I plan to create a Japan that is under the rule of a semi-authoritarian provisional government headed by the Emperor, who is now Fumhitio since Emperor Akhitio and Crown Prince Naruhito died in the blast in Tokyo. Aside from that, I will grant your request. I am glad to have you on board. DasBull$ (talk) 05:03, July 11, 2018 (UTC)
No problem mate! I'll work on the Philippines, Taiwan, and Singapore. Also, any chance Guam was hit? It is a major U.S. B-52 bomber and SSBN/SSN base. Gillan1220 (talk) 06:39, July 13, 2018 (UTC)
Since Guam is a United States territory and home to an Air Force base, it is most definite that the island would be hit.DasBull$ (talk) 18:30, July 13, 2018 (UTC)
Re:Kaliningrad
Hello Da$Bull! Thank you for your feedback on my Kaliningrad article!! I see how some of your points do make sense, and Kaliningrad was just an attempt to make a creative nation in Doomsday. Also Kaliningrad wasn’t marked as one of the cities hit on the doomsday page itself.
Again I thank you for your feedback, and I am not at all offended. Cybermats, created by the Cybermen, they kill by feeding off Brainwaves 03:13, July 16, 2018 (UTC)

I haven’t really worked on it in a while, you can adopt it if you want.
Small mistake, from a guy who is a danish monarchist
This is just a correction (I think) for a article of
https://althistory.wikia.com/wiki/Denmark_(2010:_When_the_Earth_Stood_Still)
Crown Prince Frederick (OTL) of what I know is a part of the royal house of (copyed from Wikipedia) House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, only partially Monpezat, he is the Count of Monpezat and head of that nobel family (some consider Monpezat a fake royal house https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montpezat_(disambiguation)).
So of what I know would it be more correct to have the royal house as Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, instead as Monpezat.

Re:Kaliningrad
I would like Kaliningrad to Remain Independent. If Prussia didn’t own this area before, then why now? The Kaliningrad Soviet was founded by the untouched civilians of the doomsday event. I found evidence that stated that not nukes, but ICBMS or other non-nuclear devices were fired on Kaliningrad, and so I went from there. The people there operate on the original ideas and basis of communism, but have a more less regulated economy. Anyway, thanks and stuff, Güten Nacht.
Kalinigard was nuked according to the strike list on the doomsday page. It make sesnce because Kalingard was the headquarters of the soviet Baltic fleet.Goldwind1 (talk) 12:26, August 7, 2018 (UTC)
Orange Free
I see you have an interest in the Orange Free State.I feel the Orange Free State probbally an international and has economic problems. Many of there neighbors hates and the others only tolerate them plus they have no sea coast so they to go though their neibors to trade. I feel that there problem an oppisite party in the Volksraad that adovates bowing down to international preasure by pursing racial reform in up of imporivng there image and getting better trade deals. Perhaps the Broederskap, assanite the oppisiton leader an new birtian use it as an excuse to launch a second invasion of the free state. The avenging the oppistion leader angle could get New Birtian internaitnal support of the inviason esspaliy if they instal frindly rza tranistnal govermetn instead of direct anexationGoldwind1 (talk) 12:26, August 7, 2018 (UTC)
Well, then how about the the Orange Free State being an international pariah . I could see them complaining about how, the international community is giving all the aid to the ignorant, lazy Azanians who just waste it. I feel that the media of New Britian paints the people of the Orange Free State as arrogant, temperamental and greedy.Goldwind1 (talk) 13:31, August 7, 2018 (UTC)
As of September 1983, wouldn't the Montenegrin royal family be staying in Paris and lost with Paris?

Kaliningrad Timeline Idea
Sorry for delaying this message. Was going to write this after finishing our discussion on the RA talk page, but I genuinely forgot (my bad). Anyhow, this message is just to give you a few ideas to help you with your Kaliningrad timeline (if you chose to create it).
Aside from the Volga German ASSR, there was actually a [more recent] attempt to create a new Volga German region in Kazakhstan (where many reside today). The idea went nowhere, but I incorporated it into my New Union timeline (Steppenland).
I also wanted to mention that one of reasons why Kaliningrad (or any of these German ASSRs) were opposed early on (at least from the 1960s) was that Khrushchev simply favored/encouraged any Soviets of German descent to settle in East Germany to assure a pro-Soviet populace there. There were also proposals to incorporate the Kaliningrad Oblast into neighboring Lithuania, but this was rejected by Vilnius (who feared incorporating such a large Russian-population [by that point]).
This aren't meant to discourage such a timeline, rather these are some interesting notes that I feel will help you create something great and detailed. I would also suggest looking up Eduard Rossel and Herman Gref, who are two prominent Russian politicians of Volga German descent. Rossel was the governor of the Sverdlovsk Oblast during the early 1990s, and was a staunch supporter of regional sovereignty for the oblast (going as far to proclaim a Ural Republic which gained local support). Gref is one of the current economic advisors to Putin and currently holds sway on the future of Russia's economy. In a timeline where Volga Germans migrate, these two may play vital roles for such an entity.
That's all I have for now. Like I mentioned before, feel free to use these notes as you wish. Hope they help. -- NuclearVacuum 16:26, August 14, 2018 (UTC)
- LOL, congratulations on your new timeline. Glad I could help.
- Another note of interest (to help you along your decision on whether they are independent or not). If the region was strictly intended to house the [displaced] Volga Germans (and other Germans residing within Russia), than you would have a very interesting "Prussia" on your hands. The Volga Germans settled in the Lower Volga (hence their name) during the reign of Catherine the Great (being a German herself). While these settlers retained much of their culture, most would've been assimilated into Russian society by the 1950s (more so after Germany's invasion of the USSR).
- Basically, think of the Volga Germans being the Russian counterparts of German Americans in the United States. While many retain their culture, religion, and (to a lesser degree) language; most German Americans would classify themselves as Americans. If you were to relocate German Americans back to Germany, the vast majority would feel out of place and in an alien land (so to speak). The same thing happened to many Volga Germans IOTL (willingly and unwillingly). Most of those leaving for Germany would've been native Russian speakers and would feel alienated (if not ostracized).
- I say this not to be discouraging, but to give an idea what such a "Prussia" may look like culturally and politically. While we would [most definitely] see a push towards "Germanization" (encouraging the German language, embracing the culture, etc.), we'd likely see a unique Russo-Germanic culture emerge (making it very unique compared to Germany). Russian and German would be official languages. Lutherans would make up the plurality (if not the majority), followed by Eastern Orthodox. They could also act as a "bridge" between Europe and Russia.
- As for whether they'd be independent or not, it would depend on their placement in the USSR. If they remain an ASSR up until 1991, they are likely to remain with Russia. If they are elevated to a full SSR (decades before hand), than they are pushed towards independence.
- I would also predict that the name Kaliningrad would remain the city name. While yes, Mikhail Kalinin wasn't German, he was a prominent leader during the Revolution. That being said, I find it very likely that a campaign to rename the city to Königsberg (Kyonigsberg) would be successful here (akin to OTL's move to rename Leningrad back to Saint Petersburg). IIRC, a move to rename the city IOTL was almost successful (some residence of Kaliningrad colloquially refer to the city by its old German name, so there's that).

Isn't the general 1983 :Doomsday policy to assume people in nuked cities such as Paris as dead in this scenario? Which would include the Montenegrin royal family. Gmhappy1000 (talk) 04:51, August 15, 2018 (UTC)(Gmhappy1000)Gmhappy1000 (talk) 04:51, August 15, 2018 (UTC)

King Valdemar of Denmark in KU
Hi, no Valedmar I in my timeline isn't the OTL one. The last 'real' king of Denmark in my timeline is Cnut IV. After him it goes off on a tangent. Yan Hoek (talk) 12:14, August 28, 2018 (UTC)

Kalmar Union Contributions
Hello! Yeah sure you can add content if you like. I've got no ideas about the current living monarchs - I'm still thinking about histories for the ones in the 17th century essentially. As I told Comrade Bunny I reserve the right to rewrite/add to anything you do. Mainly to keep it 'in-house' style.
My only thoughts about Denmark at this point is there's a lot of progressive policies going on internally - not full welfare state but slowly moving to it, votes for women, the fallout from the Portuguese Civil War (which I still need to give an end-date to but I think finished some point in 2015) while externally it's trying not just bully the Kalmar Union into doing what it thinks is right - but maybe arguing with Finland over its Eastern policy and Anglia over its isolationism. Usual political muddle in Pomerania (perhaps an attempted assassination or two?) disputes with the HRE and Luxembourg. etc etc.
But as for Christian X himself, you're basically free to make up whatever biography you like. Enjoy!
Yan Hoek (talk) 08:12, September 4, 2018 (UTC)
Hey, just getting around to it but I'm going to make some changes and write a whole bunch of other stuff for Christopher X of Denmark (The Kalmar Union). I'll write about the changes I think are necessary in the article's talk page. Thanks!

Wiping Pages
Why did you remove the content from Vermont War (13 Fallen Stars)? Please don't do this again. -- NuclearVacuum 03:38, October 20, 2018 (UTC)
- As you can see from the edit logs (HERE), you also wiped most of the article during your edit.
- I can see that this was an accident (no worries), just try not to let this happen again.
- Also, I would recommend not using the visual editor while on here. You seems to be adding a lot of nonsensical code when you edit articles (which may also be the cause of this incident). Try using the source editor for a while and see if this helps. -- NuclearVacuum

alexander the liberator/russian development levels
I have recently done some research on tsarist russia, making my interest in your timeline further. It seems even under the otl regime, prior to wwi russia was having extreme development, however the war sadly halted that. With Alexander II in power longer and more results achieved, this would go further. Also the resources would make it a leading industrial power. In mt opinion, the soviet caused stagnaiton and merely forced industrailization, (good in the short term, but slow but surly could make russia alot richer). I wonder what its development is by the modern day. I also have an idea, seeing that the Tsarist russia is quite conservative, a sort of "German Liberation Army" in wwii could work, to bring back a conservative monarchist germany (not promise from russia but hope from defectors.) Although i have not done enough research i must confess, how rich is russia, and do they enjoy a good standard of lving? oh and by the way I did reading about suprising similarity of US and russian history (at the time) so do they sort of switch positions?
also another thing
possible russian uniform suggestion:

you may want a different helmet, or a reason for stahlelm if not.

Is your German Century timeline still active? It was very good

Star Trek in The German Century
Hey DasBull$, I added an article under Media in The German Century called Star Trek, and at the time it seemed like a good idea. However I'm now starting to doubt Gene Roddenberry would have created the series. You do not currenlty have a page on the US in the timeline but Gene in OTL fought in WWII, and thus I'd like to determine how his life differs since the war was not the same as our WWII in The German Century, and since the US was not involved. With a different life his career it's self may also be different. I'd like your take on the situation of Gene. Baron Joshua (talk) 21:56, February 5, 2019 (UTC) Also to know if I can assist on the US article. Baron Joshua (talk) 22:00, February 5, 2019 (UTC)
Henry Ford and American Neutrality
I'd like permission to begin making pages to detail individuals of peace in the United States in following through with the aim of American Neutrality in both world wars. You may find my present outline of interest. While I know Ford's peace ship (based on WWI's outcome) isn't a success I'd still like to create a page on him and use him to further US neutrality in the 2nd World War. I also believe that in The German Century he'll provide aid to Germany in it's war against the Soviet Union. Though Ford's not the ony person I'd have to detail- since the peace movements failed in OTL a lot of information is obscure. I'd like to begin pages on other figures; the Christian Pacifist, the Socialist, and Old Guard who opposed with some emphasis in regards to WWII on the Communist opposing. The direction the United States takes is still uncertain to me, and I'd like to discuss how to proceed or rather to have some direction on where to focus. Additionally, I- will require you to create an info box on the United States as I am not familiar with those of this wiki. Which reminds me- this will likely lead to a page dedicated to a list of US Presidents. Additionally so you know I'm not just pulling the recognition of Ford's efforts out of thin air, but rather basing it on events in OTL - here is a photo . I hope to have some instruction and ideas presented by and from you soon.Baron Joshua (talk) 23:57, February 8, 2019 (UTC)
Do You reamber Me
I comment on your kailgard 1983 article adn you responded back. Lately i have been posting on the 1989 war timeline. I plan on doing an artcle for the middle east but I have imporant qustion I need anwer before i adress the region. Do you think a soviet nuke targeting western turkey go miss it mark far enough that it would destory bagdad. the destuion of bagdad would prevent sadam form trying to take advagate of the power vacum and form his own empire
Marzrevolution
I have found the concept of Marzrevolution very interesting. So Mitteleuropa seems to be a powerful bloc, but I have a quesiton.
Given that while Prussia remains a contential power its pan german expansion has been checked, might this Prussia aim to increase its colonial power?

1989 War
I see you are interested in 1983 Doomsday because you created the Republic of Fulton page. There not much room for new countries in that timeline but I am glad that some people are still putting life into the Timeline. A while back Duke Devon created a similar timeline called 1989 War. Here things went nuclear over the Berlin wall in 1989 because Gorbachev was over thrown by a hardliner. The timeline is a group timeline but beside me and Duke Devon the only contributor was a guy who made one page. Duke Devon has abandoned the timeline to focus on his German Heritage timeline but having some new on the timeline may make him comeback. If you are interested in making a page for the timeline let Duke Devon know first. PS. I like to discus my ideas with people to help me develop them before I make my wiki pages. Will you be willing to discus ideas with me.
Great Nuclear War.
I see you are interested in Great Nuclear war because you created a Vermont page for it on December 31. I don't think you can revive that timeline because it's creator/ chief editor abandoned the wiki about 2 years ago. You would better luck with 1989 war. The creator Duke Devon still regularly posts on the wiki and seeing some one new posting on the timeline may making him come back to it. I am afraid there is no room for a Vermont republic in that because timeline, it is cannon that all of America east of the Mississippi has reunited. However you could make an article for the short lived Republic of New England which united with the Indianapolis based d) eastern states to protect themselves from a militant Anglo hating Quebec state. You could also right about how an independence movement is growing in New England due to Quebec becoming lest hostile and because New England feels marginalized by Indianapolis. If you are interested in making a page for the timeline let Duke Devon know first PS. I like to discus my ideas with people to help me develop them before I make my wiki pages. Will you be willing to discus ideas with me.
1989 War 2
It seams that Duke Devon is taking a short break. He has been know to disappear for a few days. Hopefully when he gets back he will become interested in 1989 war again after finding out you are interested in it. I think I will make an article for something in South America since the continent has been left untouched with the exceptions of a few mention of Brazil. I think Brazil will be democratic but in Chile General Piniochit decides to use www3 cancel the december 1989 election and hold to power. This leads to a Chilean civil, which either piochiet wins or is one by a man who turns out to be worse then Piniochit. Argentinian democracy breaks down in the mid or late 90 and a Chilean aligned junta takes over. Bolivia, Paraguay and maybe Uruguay end up Chilean aligned dictatorships. Does the evil Chilean bloc seam plausible.
You said you are interested in making a making an Denmark page for 1989 war. No article have been made for Scandinavia but I have an idea for Norway. The Norwegian royal collapses when Oslo is nuked. A repulic is declared in Todenhiem. However done south a semi fascist state based in Bergen found by Harald Trefall or maybe Jack Erik Kjuus. I know that Bergen is a prime soviet target but Duke Deveon and me are operating under the assumption that soviet missile guidance system were so bad that a lot of the soviet missiles missed their targets.

RE:’89 War
Woah I am so sorry that I didn’t respond earlier! Life’s been busy recently. It’s nice to see that you’re interested in 1989 War - in some ways, I’m not so interested in the timeline anymore, but it would be super good if you wanted to add something about Scandinavia.
Best regards, DukeDevon

Your 1983 Doomsday proposals
Hello, more than two years ago you submitted four proposals at Talk:1983: Doomsday#CURRENT ARTICLE PROPOSALS. Nobody commented on them then, because the project was totally dead. Now, it's slowly coming back to life, and we're looking at some of these old proposals. I left comments in each of your sections, but here's the short version of my thoughts.
- Georg I of Prussia: Well written and done correctly, collaborating with the original creator. I'd want to change a few things to note that Georg was not able to charm all of Germany's former enemies, and that some ill will remains.
- Montenegro: Also well written and fits well with existing content. But you need to try to contact the original writer to ask permission. And I'm pretty sure the Montenegrin royal family would have died, so the country can't be a kingdom.
- Slovakia: This has very little content and may conflict with Nitra, so maybe it can't graduate.
- Alexander I of Macedonia: This seems to mostly add small details to already known information, so it's OK. But here too, you need to attempt to contact the original author.
I hope you'll see this and will be able to respond. Benkarnell (talk) 06:59, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
- I know it's just been a week. If you end up not responding at all, my plan is to do the following, in order to move them along and work through the backlog of years-old proposals. For Georg, I will make that small change that I said above, note that Prussia still has poor relations with some of those countries despite Georg's efforts. For Montenegro, probably replace the royal family with a republic, but maybe I can find a junior branch of the family that wasn't wiped out, and they can stand in for the main branch that was killed in Paris. Slovakia, mark Obsolete until you come back to write more. Alexander, graduate after contacting the original author of Macedonia. I'd like to start that in another week or so if I don't hear from you. Benkarnell (talk) 20:56, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
One more note. I've moved along from the 1983dd talk page and am now trying to clear out Category:Proposals (1983: Doomsday). For all the pages that you wrote but never posted for discussion, I'm marking them as either obsolete or Under Construction. The Obsolete ones are those that either you haven't touched in more than 2 years, or that are basically empty with nothing but an infobox. But please don't take either as a sign that your idea was rejected. I'm just trying to clear the backlog so that the proposals that are active are easier to discuss. If you come back, you can definitely finish any of your pages and post them again. Benkarnell (talk) 04:08, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
