Japan in your timeline
i like what your doing with your timeline it has alot of potentia, but i wanted to give a small reminder, the jaapanese were allies of the british in ww1 so it would probably be a greater war in the pacific not just the russians and americans, the japanese would mostlikely be the ameican's greatest concern. Nkbeeching (talk) 09:50, October 28, 2013 (UTC)
I am going to have the Japanese come in either in late 1915 or early 1916. I realize that I should've included them from the beginning. Thank you for the suggestion. I am that guy
The New German Empire would not be under Goring. Ever. Himmler or Hess. Likely Himmler, also, they wouldn't last long before the Wehrmacht rebelled, likely under Rommel. Mafia CBA doing his signature. Don't judge Him. This Sig is inspired by Guns. 16:47, November 9, 2013 (UTC)
I was thinking that the Wehrmacht abandoned the north with the nazi government. I would imagine that in the initial months and years, wars would be uncommon as the survivor states tried to establish themselves.
By now you have seen the message Ms left. Basically, we hope you and PESTICIDE can work together to create the new Germany page. Just make sure to keep in line with canon. Thank you! :D Imp (Say Hi?!) 11:00, November 11, 2013 (UTC)
Pittsburgh (YS: 1936)
Esteemed contributor to the Yellowstone TL, I object to the HRE on a number of counts of ASBness.
Please, consider my arguments made here. The entire idea of a united Russia in this TL at the time when it happens is ASB, and I hope you join me in striking it down as obsolete by signing the petition.
Thank You,08:12, November 14, 2013 (UTC)
Hey Iam. I know that you haven't bee lucky with all the states making, so I wanted to ask you if you would be comfortable in making the nation of Ukraine for the timeline? The nation will definately exist so there is no question about the violation of canon. You might also want to have a look at the talkpage of the Holy Russian Empire to have a look at the map and stuff. Thoughts? :D Imp (Say Hi?!) 20:33, November 16, 2013 (UTC)
Just a couple more points. The nation will initally be a "People's Republic" before it ends up becoming a republic. And we haven't decided when the Russian Forum will form so if you could just not add anything about that on your article that would be great too. Thanks! :D Imp (Say Hi?!) 23:42, November 17, 2013 (UTC)
Well, stuff like Paint work. I will keep my promise and make that flag - what would you like in it? Right now I am thinking OTL Ukraine flag but instead of the Yellow, it would be orange and contain either the Hammer + Sickle and Star or just the Star.
Hey Iam! The flag as I promised:
So what do you think about the flag. So you like it? It is based on the OTL Ukraine flag as well as the SSR flag for Ukraine. I hoped to create something good out of them two. Thoughts? :D Imp (Say Hi?!) 00:13, November 24, 2013 (UTC)
Glad to hear you like them, and I'm more than happy to answer your question. I use Inkscape (a vector graphic program) for all my maps. I was also recently introduced to a new program called G.Projector, which allows you to turn homemade maps into any map projection. In short, I used Inkscape to outline the surface of Venus, than I used G.Projector to turn that into an orthographic projection. Than I went back to Inkscape and turned that orthographic map into a vector file.
Road to War
i apologizde but you do not meet the minimum to join Road to War
i do quite like your timeline but you have not been on for 7 months and you have less then 1000 edits. ill let you join later on since i believe you will be a good adition but for now i cant ill reserve the ottomans however.

PM3: Call to War
Seeming as the Austrians have finally decided to find a way to attack, it is time to crush them.
I need you and all your vassals to join the war full on so we can crush Austria.
Anything you want in return just ask of me and I shall make it my job to grant your request.
Also don't be threatened or bribed by Austria, they told three different nations (probably more) that they'd get all of Italy by working with them so they can't and won't fulfil any of their promises. As for threats, once we've dealt with them now they won't be a threat, we'll win and we already are winning.
Thanks for all help.

Hello, I am sure you know me, but I am the Hesse player for PM3 and I want to make a deal regarding Lippe. I noticed that you said Lippe was a vassal of yours, but I am trying to vassalize Lippe so I can get land that is closer to the nation of Bruchhausen, so I could get Bremen, which would open me up to the sea. I just want to know if we could make a deal about this. P.S. Mscoree sent me. Blocky858 (talk) 20:36, March 12, 2014 (UTC)

Hamburgs african exploration
As you said you have been mapping and exploring africas coast since the games outset. I have as well and have a much better position than you INCLUDING resupply points, settlements on islands, and multiple trading outposts throughout Oyo, Kongo to name a few locations and i JUST rounded the cape of good hope a few years ago. The only nation close to that area of south africa currently is Portugal or possibly the netherlands. As for your comment how it would be implausible for you to not reach it that is false. When you have 0 major resupply points (trade posts dont count they can in no way support exploration fleets) or at least any that can get you as far down as south africa that makes it HIGHLY implausible for you to reach south africa barely years after Castile and before Portugal the two foremost naval explorers right now. To reach south africa you would have to be resupplying in the Kongo with current ships and tech levels. Considering the Kongo is open only to a certain power that rules out you being able to reach the Cape of good hope. much less even Gabon. Ive told you about this before, do not push boundaries you cannot have plausibly pushed yet.
According to Callum who is my senior, hes in agreement that reaching South Africa much less establishing an outpost there is out of your range but you would have just reached areas just around Angola which means your in the northern area of my Kongo vassal.
Ill Also have you know you have to ask me to be using my Trade posts and ports, you cant just waltz in and say you resupply there when you never asked me. That doesnt happen sorry
For the Record i dont even let my allies use Castilian trading posts and areas. The only exception might be the Kongo when the time comes in like 50 years but i dont let anyone so its not just you im not allowing its a universal thing there is a pretty big reason why im the furthest down and why i can continue to do that.
I just saw your message. I'm sorry to disappoint you that I did not make that map. It is modified. I also didn't make "A Federation of Equals". That was made by theAhawk. 99KingHigh and I merely keep the Wikia pages for it tidy.
Now, regarding the maps, "A Federation of Equals" is an interactive AAR (After-Action Report) based off the game Victoria 2, made by Paradox Interactive. We basically play the politicians within the country while theAhawk, the man who created it, plays the game and adjusts it to whatever action us players have done, hence it being interactive. So, we use the province map of the game Victoria 2, or more accurately, a version of the province map that has been modified so that it made be used for the purposes I'm using it right now.
So, I cannot help you, I sincerely apologize. Also, thank you for enjoying "A Federation of Equals" and I hope you continue enjoying it.
I use either regular MS Paint or Paint.net to modify the province maps. For the state maps, I use a zoomed in version of the Vic2 province map, link here. I can't recall where I got this zoomed in version however.
What I did was first (using Paint.NET) use the Rectangle Select and select the country that I want, in this case, the Danubian Federation. I would then paste it into a new image and slowly get rid of the countries around the Federation. This has left me with the Federation being the only country in the image. Then, following what the maker of the AAR tells me, I would then slowly color in the province borders so that it looks like a state map, like so.
Now, for the state maps used in the state articles, I based them off of the maps used for the States of Germany on Wikipedia, like here and here. I used the colors used in these maps and slowly modify my map to look something like that. That would result in this and this.
And then we have the country maps used in the country articles, like the one for the Danubian Federation. For those maps, I use the zoomed in map I showed earlier and modified it to look the country maps on Wikipedia, like this. Doing that resulted in this.
Now, I don't know how helpful this is to you, but if you need further explaining, just ask.

See no point in talking to someone who doesn't want to listen, especially in an environment like that.
For suggestions, see previous posts. I said a lot more, imo, than the thing that pissed you off. Several of the others in those blog comments also had good suggestions.
For the reforms, A-H basically already had them in place. The elements that they had not implemented were for practical reasons - AH, given the state it was, simply could not implement them. You've looked into this enough to know what those reasons are.
Those reforms, really, do nothing to address the poor quality of the military. And that timeframe is without question too short for such reforms anyway.
Made my case before. Not my fault you don't care for it.
What's wrong with that environment? It's about the equivalent of asking me to sit on a stage, get tied up, and handing out rotten fruit to a surrounding crowd with the purpose of throwing it at me.
The Prussians instituted those "reforms," or at least the basis for them, by the 1700s. And they took decades to take effect in what was then a tiny state. When the other German states did the same reforms, took them just as long, and they not only didn't go as far, but were far, far, less effective. Without the society that they formed in, these "reforms" are far less effective.
Such "reforms" would inflame the Hungarians and the minorities, and undo a lot of what had been done to try and keep things peaceful in that regard.
You're actually wrong about the military matters. Financial and overall control of the military fell to the joint government. Each section of the country, of course, had its own troops, under two very different structures of operation. This whole setup led to government deadlock only a few years before WWI, even, one of many such occurrences between the two halves.
With A-H, it's basically impossible to have such a concept - not that it would even remotely work in A-H anyway - pass through the government. Never going to happen.
And, as noted, decades to see any impact. Following the resulting civil war and collapse, of course.
Because the Hungarians would lose control if the military was reformed. That was quite possibly the biggest thing for them - they openly threatened to leave or revolt if any loss of control seemed possible. Including over minorities in "their" territory.
Minorities would hate it because it would be, in effect, a move to institute authority over them. Which they did not want. Such a relations campaign - which would not exist, given the time period - would just be laughed at.
Actually easier to institute the reforms in the 1700s. Things were less complex. Technology doesn't always help.
The Germans help? Nope. And for each state, the reforms would be, and have to be, different.
Never used the words "curb-stomped" or anything of that nature. Nor did I say that it would be easy for Italy to win. But, win they would.
Yes, I have read what you've said - but you ignore so much. The others, there is no consensus, though the majority seem to agree on the tag, though not for the same reasons, even among themselves.
Those "sources" don't actually indicate that. The numbers are a smokescreen, and the idea that they had any edge in quality is outright false.
As noted before, the number of divisions involved in the A-H side mean that something is off with the overall troop numbers. Add to that the total number of soldiers that AH was able to raise, which is according to more reliable estimates less than eight million. And otl, they had that front, the eastern front, and occupation duty in the northern Balkans, in addition to keeping the peace inside the empire itself. Even going by the highest estimates of a bit over nine million troops, something is still off.
Most likely - again, as noted before - the number of German soldiers was far larger than the number imply. In your atl, none of these are there.
Nor is such mobilization numbers going to happen. Mobilizing all of those men would automatically bring in others. More or less like the ultimatums otl. You'd also need a lot more troops than otl to keep internal order.
Germans won't supply them with resources. Not only is that expensive, but would be self-defeating in terms of allies. And A-H doesn't have the resources, or really even access to them, to operate on its own. Italy at least has shipping access worth mentioning.
Italy almost broke through on smaller scales several times prior to the German offensives, and the one major almost break-through. All that while being somewhat outnumbered, given German forces. Remember, the only time the CP forced them back was that late German offensive (let's not kid ourselves - A-H had almost no involvement in that)
Italian forces were also more modernized, better equipped, and far easier to mobilize. They could also easily encourage revolts in AH. Remember, the Russians beat the tar out of A-H, who had to be saved by German troops.
Really, A-H would have collapsed years before it did had it not been for German forces and aid. Like a weak house of cards.
Italy, imo, actually got very few Allied units to help it - and those were basically all after the German offensive. Saw very little use, too. And they won "decisive" victories before they arrived, too.
A-H's incompetence is not exaggerated. There's quite literally nothing about it that could, by the time period, be described as "competent." That you give A-H what amounts to god mode with tactics makes it even worse.
Remember, this is a nation that could not beat Serbia on its own, despite holding all of the "cards," until the Bulgarians joined and they surrounded them. Aren't going to be out-thinking squat.
Also, unlike otl, the Hungarians would be very apathetic towards a war with Italy alone. Would be viewed as an Austrian thing. To say nothing of A-H not having any ghost's chance of affording it. Italy's economic situation may have been bad, but A-H was unquestionably worse.
So, Italy wins. Not easily or quickly, but A-H would give up eventually, probably with great internal pressure for it.
Now, remember too, that that was only part of the reason it is ASB.
Not only is the peace treaty insane, as others noted too, but you also basically ignore the international situation. Having A-H forces actually be good, overall, doesn't help.
If A-H and Italy were to go to war like that, you would have other neighbors of A-H get more or less involved, though not necessarily officially/outright. In essence, you delay the Great War by a few years.
Not at all exaggerating them. Italy, imo, was winning without Allied troops around, and the Germans had to rapidly deploy troops there in order to prevent a breakthrough. That period is the only time A-H managed to advance against the Italians - and to say that it was A-H that advanced, imo, is basically not true, given that it was German troops that did it.
Only countries Russia could even come close to claiming a quality advantage over would have been A-H (debatable) and the Ottomans (unquestionable). Their only advantage was numbers. To say that that army was anywhere near good is just false.
For the incompetent commanders in A-H, that IS basically god mode. Especially since it comes out of nowhere.
A-H is a land power. They aren't going to make more ships on any real level. And the Italian Navy is both larger and stronger. Plus, it showed in both wars a great ability to innovate, and would do the same here. A fight between the two, A-H loses.
Wrong about the demise of A-H. Wasn't really those groups that were responsible - rather, it was A-H's general incompetence that was to blame. They were the country least prepared and least able to fight in that war. Had it not been for German aid/troops, they would have collapsed within two years.
On the contrary, you'd see open resistance by the minorities. All of the states around them would at minimum sponsor it. They didn't do that otl because they couldn't get them resources. Look at how many of them went over to the Allies as soon as they could - now picture those people, even just a few percent, resisting. Not fun.
Reorganize the High Command? Not only is Hungary never going to go for that, but they'd revolt if it was tried.
Homogeneous units? You just trained, armed, and localized rebels. And, Hungary would never go for it.
No way they change how they mobilize - not that that would be all that relevant.
The majority of A-H troops were on the Italian front. By the time that front got going, it held the vast majority. You vastly overstate the numbers they held elsewhere. In fact, there was only a few hundred thousand in those areas within a few months of the Italian entry.
The Italians made progress well before that, and it had nothing to do with minorities.
A-H didn't reinforce it, really. Virtually all the troops that went there at that point were German. And you say four divisions like it means something - doesn't. Not only was it more than four divisions that they sent, but the divisions were massively oversized.
The Italian commander statement holds little truth, and was far, far, far more valid for A-H.
Funny, you claim to be a fan of the battleships, yet you get most of the details wrong. At the time of Italy entering the otl war - near enough to yours to render other things moot - they outnumbered A-H in terms of Dreadnoughts, and had a slightly more modern series of Pre-Dreadnoughts, of roughly even numbers. They also had more in the "pipeline" to be built, and were further along with them. That is, in addition, to Italy having more or other types of vessels - torpedo boats, etc. - than A-H.
Their crews were also more experienced, having served against the Ottos, and better supplied. For that matter, the Italians also had/have far more capacity to build more ships.
Supplies - big problem. A-H more or less ran out by mid-1916 otl, and had to be supplied by Germany. Italy did not need to be supplied like that. In your atl, A-H won't get that. But Italy will still have some ability to do so. Their troops would be able to be supplied, but A-H would not.
Italy's early offensives gained quite a bit of ground, against a fully-mobilized A-H. Odds are with an A-H less mobilized, they get much further. You'll see cities lost.
Not only is that not a tactic, but it's also not what you said at first, or what your article does. And the degree of incompetence in A-H military commanders was extraordinary - they would never even notice. That problem goes throughout their entire command structure.
A "more competent structure" can only happen by removing power from the two military commands, and giving it to the central one. That is an unquestionable loss of power for Hungary. Even reforms under that margin - not that they would be at all effective in any way, shape, or form - would still greatly anger Hungary.
That you think the minorities would be happy because of that is disturbing. They would not be. All it manages is training, concentrating, equipping, and supplying, potential rebels - and to top it off, keeping them in one spot near their homes. A-H would had to be insane to do that. And, as noted, Hungary would never do it.
The governmental structure and hierarchy of A-H, combined with their infrastructure, means that that mobilization method has to be it. Two points, not one, fyi - one for each half.
Not kidding here: Anything that even remotely smacks of a loss of power, or even adjusting it to other areas, for Hungary, and it does not happen in A-H.

I understand the frustration, and we most certainly did not agree with one another on the war, but I have tried to treat your loss with dignity. When you read my PM post, my king gave a speech on the strength and bravery of Hamburg and its people. I respect you, I do, I also have issues with people being rude. Nonetheless the apology is accepted. Hamburg will likely be turned into a vassal, and once I PU with Oldenburg, I will merge the two and create a German duchy, that way it will remain German. Again I thank you for the apology and I likewise apologize for any untoward words. Good DayALLONS-Y!!,Basically, RUN!! 01:40, May 16, 2014 (UTC)

1550 HRE chancellery elections
Would Friedrich II like to run for the chancellery in the 1550 elections? it might be weird since he'd be going against Catherine of Bavaria's cousin, but I think it'd be doable. Cookiedamage (talk) 22:54, June 27, 2014 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure a chancellor has to be a ruler of some sort, whether it be a sovereign monarch or vassal lord. they have to already preside over some sort of country.Cookiedamage (talk) 23:02, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

Royal Marriage Proposal
Hi, I'm contacting all the major nations in Europe in PM3 to tell you about some royal marriage proposals available this turn, for three different royal families. On my turn there are currently fifteen people who are looking for a spouse, simply reply to my turn as soon as you can to reserve a person. I will be looking over the proposals to try to avoid incest (although a little incest never killed nobody haha), and if you'd like to see family relations yourself, feel free to check out this page, where the family tree is located. If you would like further information or my recommendations for a particular person, message me back with your available children and their ages and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Hi, IATG. I was wondering if you can you remove your sig from the Treaty of Konigsberg? It was rewritten by NonEuc and is not the same treaty that you signed. Reximus | Talk to Me! 06:07, September 2, 2014 (UTC)
I saw you removed your signature as Rex asked you. I just wanted to tell you that it doesn't matter at this point. You're fighting people like Spain, and he is ensuring that Livonia is one hundred percent annexed, by an assortment of people. You should consider yourself lucky that he didn't add you in too, because he has every right and ability to. For that reason I advise you to not fight them on this, as it will only be made worse. Rex is still basically in denial and editing the algorithm for basic errors, but again at this point it doesn't matter. Mscoree (talk) 20:40, September 2, 2014 (UTC)

Greetings Hamburg from the new King of the Cherokee
Hi I am that guy, I'm Von. I am a returning player from the PM 1 & 2 days, and now looking to build myself something in PM3.
I've joined PM3 as the Cherokee nation so I figure we better establish relations with each other. Basically I don't want the land your nation currently holds near mine, and in fact I want your colony to grow further in land to maybe the size of north carolina and some. Dividing the interior of the USA south is basically the purpose of my nation and I aim to have it destroyed in about 100 years, and the area divided between you, Rome and France.
The backstory of my nation is that a merchant with ties to Roman merchants in the area did a coup against the old King, so basically we are allies because you Europeans helped get my King in power. I will use my European friendships trade to help expand my Cherokee empire to dominance over the South USA. However as would be historically accurate, eventually I will be destroyed by the surrounding European nations.
How are your relations with Rome and France btw? So I can figure out a good plan/story of how my Kingdom will fall, and the region be shaped by the colonial politcs.
WHat say you?
Uploading Correct Files
As of lately you've been uploading files straight from Wikimedia but have not been uploading the correct file types and names (for some I've seen). In the future, please upload these files as the exact same as on Wikimedia (naming, file type, size) as this allows all users to easily find these files in the future. It would also be a big courtesy to add the licensing while uploading these files (which can be done while uploading them). I thank you for your cooperation and I'm always here if you require any assistance. -- NuclearVacuum 22:22, October 30, 2014 (UTC)

I'm a make you an offer you can't refuse for your expansion into North America
Hi I come from the glorious United Kingdom of the Cherokee and Shawana. How is your nation Hamburg doing?
My own nation is in a bit of a slump, I just got a new King and well he is a bit young and reckless. He wants to make his father's nation much more powerful and to avenge him to bring back honour to his family. One way he sees doing this is to expand his nation to the sea so his Kingdom is completely in control of its own over-land trade routes. Plus then the Kingdom could do some overseas expansion...
He sees the Hamburg colony in OTL North Carolina as his easiest way to get sea access. What is the name of this colony btw?Anyway due to my commitments to the game being rather terrible currently and looking bad for the rest of the year, I was wondering if we could stage a war between ourselves in which you win control of my nation as you defeat it by supporting a coup against the aggressive new king who brashly starts a war against one of its neighbouring European colonial trading partners.
The war will start after the newly created royal army while on a campaign to subdue the ex-cahokian territory, and after a good bit of battle and expansion the King grows in power-lust. Seeing the defensives of Hamburg's near-by colony, he launches an invasion against it. While initially successful, your Hamburg guys eventually kill him and start a counter-attack against the United Cherokee-Shawana Kingdom, pushing deep into my territory. At which point a disgruntled Shawana Chief will side with Hamburg, stage a coup, kill all of the royal family and force the remaining royal Princess to marry him. Thus a new King and dynasty starts in the United Shawana-Cherokee Kingdom, one which is under Hamburg authority, a new large vassal state for you to rule. The map I've posted here shows what I expect the situation to look like come 1740 when all of this plan should be over and done with.
I will leave the game and you will take over my nation. You get the United Cherokee-Shawana Kingdom as a large powerful vassal nation, which you are free to split into two vassal states if you prefer (so a Shawana and a Cherokee vassal). What do you think of my plan?
Over these next 10 years. 1730-1732 will be me building up my military to prepare. I will be expanding into that civil disarray territory for two years after that. Then I will attack your Hamburg colony in 1735 and we will wage a five year war. During the second year my King is killed, and his younger brother becomes King. Then in the fourth year the Shawana Chief who allies with Hamburg will kill off the royal family in the Cherokee capital, except the eldest royal princess who will become Queen of the United Kingdom and the Shawana Chief who usurps the throne in his coup forces her to marry him. WIth support of your Hamburg troops the final fifth year is spent killing off the remaining royalists to the previous dynasty. Then bam in 1740 the United Shawana-Cherokee Kingdom is your vassal state.
Starting from 1741 onwards you will then post as the United Shawana-Cherokee Kingdom. You will probably find my Cherokee nation page very helpful in creating your posts for your new vassal. I'd suggest a rest period, then split up the United Kingdom into two parts, a Shawana vassal and a Cherokee vassal. Then you continuing to expand both vassals, the Shawana can peacefully expand either east or west into the civil disarray territory, and the Cherokee can expand through war if you decide to. Personally I'd focus the Cherokee vassal's economy and building up a large supply of cash crops such as cotton and tobbaco to support Hamburg's economy; get a slave trade going. For the record I don't personally believe in slavery, its just right for the 1700s period of colonialism haha. VonGlusenburg (talk to Von!) 02:35, December 28, 2014 (UTC)
Oh and also what is the name of Hamburg's colony in OTL North Carolina? You never said. I want to be able to name it correctly in my posts you see. VonGlusenburg (talk to Von!) 02:53, December 28, 2014 (UTC)
Thanks man! I will nearly be finished with the nation page which will detail basically this entire war and all of my nation's history before it falls to your New Hamburg colony and becomes a vassal. VonGlusenburg (talk to Von!) 02:56, December 28, 2014 (UTC)
OKAY its all over now. I hastened the war to end a year earlier. The United Shawana-Cherokee Kingdom, is now a vassal of the Duchy of Hamburg under the rule of the Degataga-Chuquilatague Dynasty. I will post once more in 1738 as King Chuquilatague is killed and the last of the previous Degataga Dynasty is destroyed by King Chuquilatague. What you do now with the treachouress King Chuquilatague and the Kingdom is now entirely up to you, feel free to split it up into multiple vassals, annex it (whole or in-part) into your Karolina colony or expand it easily into those regions in civil disarray (its easy because its just normal expansion rates halved to expand into civil disarray territory).
I hope to see some interesting posts for my former vassal when I return to the Wiki in February. I'll add whatever events occurred under your rule to the nation page for the Cherokee. You can update that nation page yourself too, since it is your nation now. Pleasure doing business with you :D VonGlusenburg (talk to Von!) 00:45, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
Normans would still happen, and probably have more of France under their control when they take England. Something like the Hundred Years' War would happen, though with different motives. England would come to dominate much of France.
Iberia... This means a stronger Aragon, for one. Castille would also lack an ally, so Portugal is likely bigger and stronger. But Spain, realistically, still forms.
Bet on a lot of French lands going Protestant.

Jórvìk. Though, the English are most likely going to end up retaking the area anyway. My understanding of their treaty is that the other would get the crown upon the death of one of them. Not that Cnut's family would not fight that, lol. Lordganon (talk) 11:29, April 12, 2015 (UTC)

The Great Clusterfuck of Pm3
Proposed Map for Burma
Heres what I proposed. Thoughts? Original represents what we agreed on ages ago. New represents what I decided on chat a while ago. http://i.imgur.com/H52E257.png
Williamsburg Purchase (PMIII)
Hello Germany! Your colony, named Williamsburg, is founded in 1454 as a colony of Hamburg, to grab a share of the then-lucrative west African trade. Over more then 500 years, the colony hasn't growth stronger enough both by area and population and seems every years Williamsburg didn't expend anymore. Now Morocco wants to purchase this colony in West Africa as seen on right map. When you accepted, the Williamsburg will completely leaves Germany and annexed by Morocco, as part of our nationalistic campaign to become a stronger nation in Africa.
Let me be frank
If I re-post my counter-proposal, you would have two options:
1) Take on the original agreement and cede New Mecklenburg to me. I swear that I will grant its independece exactly when you wanted with the same rights as you intended.
2) Accept the counter-proposal and grant New Mecklenburg independence directly, exactly when you want with the same rights as you intended. <--- really no different asside from the middle man
However, the second option has a consequence that I have no control over. As it is different from the original agreement, Germany's credibility is completely shattared. Thus every standing agreement, alliance or treaty falls into question, every front becomes a liability, and Germany will no longer know who is friend or foe. Without me doing anything, or having any ability to stop it, Germany has brought upon itself a Second Grand Coalition. And no, I will not defend you. It has nothing to do with Australia, and everything to do with Germany's word of honor. It would be truly miraculous if Germany found some way of recovering its reputaiton if you accept such a proposal.
So although I would be more than willing to make this comprimise, I also don't want Germany to lose all allies with a Second World War on the horizon. Thus, I will not re-post the counter-proposal unless I'm sure that you've thought very carefully about what you're going to do next
Respectfully, 21:52, July 15, 2015 (UTC)
To be honest that screenshot proves nothing. You can't even see who said what. You also can't see you asking a question, who knows what they are actually agreeing to. And lastly neither of those players have been active in a while, so what do they even know? Fritzmet (talk) 17:11, August 3, 2015 (UTC)
I understand that you have permisson from crim and sky but I am going to ask that you stop editing the algo for now because you are making it difficult for me to fix something another player requested I fix. #PraiseRoosevelt. 17:52, August 3, 2015 (UTC)
Mp told me to correct algos, that is what I am doing. Fritz asked me hours ago to fix something in the algo for him. If you wanted to dispute the New Rugia front that's fine, but the changes to west Africa had 0 impact on the result of said front. #PraiseRoosevelt.
I am going to work until 9:30 EST tonight. During this time, I do not want anyone who is not a mod editing the algo, regardless of permisson or not. This extends to other players as well. I am going to tell you the same thing I told LX during the Pskov gangbang: If you have a problem with the algo, make your own version on my talk page or on the Pm3 talk page. Don't edit the main algo. Sky and Crim only have information you have presented to them on facebook, and I have had 0 time to explain to them my POV. For this reason, I changed the algo to Mods only, regardless of permisson. I ask that you respect that and do not change the algo. #PraiseRoosevelt. 19:27, August 3, 2015 (UTC)
TREATY OF BERLIN
Duchy of Burgundy
So, it would be easier to do this in chat, but I wish to discuss what you want in negotiations against the AI Duke of Orleans (I am the King of France). OTL, your two nations had a huge rivalry, and I just don't want it to stem out of control. I hope you too wish for a France that is not super divided, and I hope we can solve this without war. Please hit me up on my talk page, and tell me about your goals and what you would want to solve the rivalry. Thanks.
This is from my phone, so I am gonna try and be brief. If you remain with me during this war I will help finance the Burgundian fleet and I promise you the port of Calais to strengthen your navy and control of Trade in the region. I will also continue to grant you more autonomy throughout the future. Thank you 184.108.40.206 04:17, August 1, 2016 (UTC). BTW this is Nic.

Treaty of Bucharest
Guy, I am not fully annexing Spain or significantly annexing large parts of them. It's your choice if you want to join them in their fight against me. Remember I don't want to make this personal or anything, so hopefully you don't. IATG, I swear on my life, you will be able to keep the Azores. I will make sure Portugal does not use the Cartaz on you as well. Please join chat so I can talk with you before you make your decision.04:26, September 18, 2016 (UTC)
Guy I have done out an algo, and the War between me and France is close, however I won't last through the 1463 turn without someone else getting involved. If I lose this war, Portugal goes free and you lose the Azores. With Portugal indpendent once more, you will lose your ablity to trade in Africa, and explore the Atlantic, and you lose the territory you just gained. This is your chance now. If I lose this war you lose your acess to the south atlantic. if you revolt you have a good chance of winning. #BRINGBACK THESQUIRREL

India and Burgundy in PMIV
Now that the Europeans have arrived in India, here is what I propose for our (and likely with the other Europeans too) future relationship. 1. If you want to landgrab from me, you are free to try, but I would remind you that in population, army, and navy, you are massively outnumbered. (Remember that going to war with me also means going to war with the Swahilis, Delhi, Bengal, and all of our vassals.) I will not give up an inch of Indian soil w/o a fight. I might consider a trading post or two in exchange for some technology, though, but I will initiate any such deal when I so please. 2. Nonetheless, I am more than happy to trade with you. I will have a compact written in a day or two for European access to the spice trade, which you will be free to sign. 3. You may dock your ships in my ports if you so wish, as long as you keep relatively orderly. 4. Missionaries will be allowed, as long as they do not speak against the Bahmani government. 5. My alliance slots are currently full, so I cannot ally with you. 6. Nonetheless, in a couple centuries, when we both are more powerful, I would be open to the possibility of a joint expedition against Majapahit, but we can discuss that when the relevant time comes. If there is anything else you desire, I am open to negociations. The Guardian of Forever (talk) 23:30, October 27, 2016 (UTC)
Also, on extraterritoriality: I'm not going to grant it, but I don't need to because of how Bahmani law works. Each of the seven/eight (Sunni, Shia, and Ibadi Islam, Hinduism, Jainism, Eastern Christianity, Judaism, and Gunturism in the Laccadives) recognized religions gets their own laws and court system. (Which was used in OTL Islamic Cordoba.) When there are enough Catholics in my lands, they can be added to this list. (Though if any were convicted of a crime at the molment, they can either go in the courts of the denomination they please or under their own code w/a judge who's religion is determined by them, though they must file this code with the proper authorities first. The Guardian of Forever (talk) 01:41, October 30, 2016 (UTC)
I have a counteroffer: LM (Bengal) keeps all of the Andamans and Nicobars, but you can keep a trade post there. I also will allow you to trade in the Compact of Kolon-Thota at Tier V, the highest a non-Muslim nation can get. The Guardian of Forever (talk) 23:15, November 16, 2016 (UTC)
What about, in addition to everything I already offered, a 250-year lease on everything south of the Sombrero Channel, as well as a trade post at Kolon-thota? The Guardian of Forever (talk) 00:39, November 17, 2016 (UTC)
come onto chat one sec need to talk
You do not have the authority to play for Prussia and move his troops. No would not open his capital up to another siege from nearly 20000 troops o still have near it
Status on Malaya
I am considering a choice between the two offers, and I think I will remain a Burgundian Protectorate (Unless they fall), but that doesn't mean Aryavarta and Malaya can't have good relations. When Malaya is powerful enough, it will declare independence but maintain good relations in Burgundy. That way, both offers are technically accepted. I don't wish to deny anyone as it makes me feel bad (lol).
Re: NAV Question
Oh my good Lord: someone has read my timeline!!!
That's a good question Guy, one I hadn't considered before. Of course there are differences between Britain and Germany TTL; Britain was invaded and had a French monarch installed against the will of the overwhelming majority of the people, whereas the Germans were always more willing partners to France, and (aside from Westphalia), didn't have random French people installed as monarchs.
However, your mention of France's German territories raises interesting prospects. Whilst I think it's only briefly mentioned on one page (and may be contradicted on others), France only took Prussia and the Austrian Empire in 1855, after the War of the Imperial Succession between Maximilian and the usurper Napoleon III. Given their absorbtion into France proper, it would make sense for there to be significant dissatisfaction, and no doubt a movement to join the German Confederation amongst the German-speaking regions. They would no doubt be greatly heartened by the success of the British Spring. Indian (or Sino-Japanese) Intelligence could even be assisting in stirring up resentment... HRE Election PMIV
Heya, so I voted for you in the election, but since Nk's gone we probably should have a talk about what happens in the future for the HRE - let me know when you're online :) Nonsensicaljourney (talk) 02:10, May 15, 2017 (UTC)
Re:Korea in RA
Thank you so much for your question (really made my day).
The quickest answer I can give you is: I had no idea the Korean royal family retained any status during Japanese rule (let alone still existing). This certainly throws a wrench into the timeline, but an interesting one nonetheless. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Off the top of my head, my guess is that it'd be a 50/50 chance that Korea becomes either a republic or a re-established monarchy. It would depend on the royals themselves and the mindset of the Koreans. Had the royals become too connected with the Japanese, the populous may view them as being puppets and chose a republic. But if they remain "Korean enough," I could see the people favoring a monarchy to become a stabilizing force post-independence (a la Spain). Regardless, I could definitely see Tokyo favoring the monarchy as it would be as close to the status quo for them. -- NuclearVacuum 03:58, May 17, 2017 (UTC)
I'm bout ready to say fuck it and invade. I ran an algo minus addition and blunder, and got a tier 3 victory, and that was just 300,000 men vs the rest of the polish army (30,000). And Britain wants to see saxony survive. France is a "ally" of Poland. - (Mr.Orwell 20:20, May 23, 2017 (UTC))
continued stupidity in compromising is making me say, do you just want to invade already (Mr.Orwell 03:46, May 25, 2017 (UTC))
Council of Berlin
Hey Guy, we should probably make a separate page for Council of Berlin discussions if we're going to take this peace process seriously - however, I'm still new enough to not know how to effectively make a page, so can you please set one up for me? Thanks, Nonsensicaljourney (talk) 10:26, June 3, 2017 (UTC)
I just want to inform you that I had switched my nation to Prussia and I just didn't want you to continue basically making turns for me and then making the situation a bit confusing. As always, have a good day.
Its based on the restoration war of Portugal, the conspiracy of 40 men. You keep trying to be both the Netherlands and Germany at the same time, and since you do more with the Netherlands, that's taken as the main focus of the nation, regardless where the dynasty came from genetically. Oh, I didn't mean to push that button! † Oh, well leave a message I guess 23:30, July 14, 2017 (UTC)
well, it is over now. The PU had ended this most recent turn. but anyway yeah I now play as Prussia but i hope to work with you and your nation in the future.

I was put under the impression that the prussian lands are in full disarray and that you weren't focusing on the easternmost regions. Please come on chat or start a discussion on the talk page regarding Prussia so that I don't screw things up again, that would be a big help.
Hey Guy, we should probably have a chat about two things when you're next online at the same time as me: the future of the HRE (there's got to be a better organising principle for the modern day, and if we can do it peacefully, that's ideal) and a couple ideas I have for my canonesses in Burgundian Arcadia. :) Thanks, Nonsensicaljourney (talk) 13:51, August 11, 2017 (UTC)
Burgundian Acquisitions in Southeast Asia
Hey uh, any chance I might be able to get some support in a "theoretical" war against Brunei?
Also, would it be possible for Malaya to be united with Sumatra and Aceh, either under one protectorateship or after independence?
Hello guy. I am a new player in the PMIV game controling the Swiss Confederacy, and I wanted to let those in the HRE know that I am now in the game. Perhaps we can organize a chat. Thanks.
Hi, could I possibly be cuba and revolt?
Hey IATG, I understand you're Burgundy in PMIV. I'm the Mapuche. LMK if you're at all interested in attacking Argentina and splitting up its Patagonian territory - it seems like he was interested in attacking your colony there, whereas I wouldn't be because the tribes of the region you're settling aren't Mapuche, so it might be worthwhile for you. If not, i'd be interested in establishing a mutual defence pact against the Argentine player. Krasnoyarsk2 (talk) 18:10, February 27, 2018 (UTC)
I did not know that.
Bil EoGuy/EoGy99 Mesa AZ
I apologize. I never heard that word before.
I didn't knowingly delete anything.
In guns, particularly firearms, caliber or calibre is the approximate internal diameter of the gun barrel, or the diameter of the projectile it shoots. It is measured in hundredths or thousandths of an inch or in millimetres. For example, a ".45 caliber" firearm has a barrel diameter of roughly 0.45 inches (11 mm).
Nothing about barrel length.
You're right about this one.
I don't know as much as you do about that. You could also be right.
