creating new pages

the easiest way to ceate new page is to go in the address bar and replace everything after the "wiki/" with the name of the page you wishes to create. you will then see a link that say "Click here to start this page!" clik it and then fill the page.--Marcpasquin 18:55, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

if the preceding wasn't clear enough, you can always try the wikipedia help page: --Marcpasquin 18:34, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

Failed History

I'm not sure I understand your question, what do you mean by "rearranged" and "being the visible crossover of althistory into RL"?--Marcpasquin 14:21, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Renaming Albania

Can you please rename your Albania article? Generally when an article name is for a real world nation or person, we use it as a disambigution page. For example Sicily could mean Sicily (Chaos) or Sicily (British Louisiana), but with the Sicily article a person can figure which Sicily they meant when they used the search term Sicily. Please rename your Albania article soon or I will be forced to choose one. Thanks. Mitro 01:08, September 30, 2009 (UTC)

I renamed your article Albania (Cricket) for the time being. Mitro 13:31, September 30, 2009 (UTC)
Next time please put messages on someone's talk page and not their user page. Mitro 15:14, September 30, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, we could combine "Neanderthal" and the Multiple humans timeline. I haven't done much work on Neanderthal yet (except for this article); but I'll help out when I can. - Mister Sheen 15:06, September 15, 2010 (UTC)

Anglo America in Day of Glory

Had an idea. How about a descendant of the pre-revolution British Parliament based out of Virginia. Basically after the revolution, the king goes to hanover and the parilament not too sad to see him go, go to Virginia and form th Dominion of Virginia, who goes on to consolidate herself following the loss of her more northerly cousins and begin a resurgence into colonies in Africa. Bob 19:19, September 30, 2010 (UTC)

It is better to think of anglo-america *there* as being like Central-America *here*(talk) 05:58, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

thanks for the correction. One question though, why did you put a link for Rise of the Statelets on the Interzone page ?*(talk) 05:58, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

Roman Printing

I found this timeline in the adoption category and saw you recently made additions to it. Did you adopt it? --XterrorX 13:53, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, but I am just looking for abandoned timelines about the Romans to merge with Pax Romana, which I recently adopted and Roman Printing was suitable. I did the same with Norse America, which consists of three timelines I merged. Anyway, good luck with the timeline. ;) --XterrorX 15:52, October 13, 2010 (UTC)
Never heard of it and can't find a summary of it on the Internet. What's it about? --XterrorX 16:13, October 13, 2010 (UTC)
Oh cool, I'll give it a read if I ever get my hands on it. --XterrorX 22:53, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

Recent creations

As much I as applaud your enthusiasm, some of your recent articles I feel are unecessary. One of our conventions on this wiki is not to recreate Wikipedia. Creating a series of stubs that simply link to Wikipedia is pretty much doing that. Sorry Jack but I really think we do not need more articles like that. Mitro 16:50, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

I don't agree with your reasoning Jack. Most of those articles listed on the most wanted page are there because people are copying from Wikipedia without changing the code. Thus we are getting a lot of new links that really shouldn't exist. And lets face it, people who use this wiki are probably familiar with Wikipedia and are more likely to go there for info than any general article here.
That being said, if you want to create disambig articles, go ahead. Just make sure to add links to the other pages that the disambig article serves. Mitro 17:27, October 18, 2010 (UTC)
Jack, why are you still creating these general articles with no alternate history content? I though we discussed that they are generally not relevant for this wiki.
Also if you are going to create articles that can be used as disambiguition pages, please use the {{disambig}} template and also make an effort to list the articles that go with the disambigution page. Mitro 15:06, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
The problem Jack is that you are no "contributing text" that is valuable to this wiki. This is an alternate history wiki. Most of the articles on this wiki should focus on alternate histories and should avoid OTL topics. Even general articles should have an AH focus. We are not trying to recreate Wikipedia, we even have a convention stating that policy. Nevertheless, your articles are doing just that. As I said before they are not necessary since people could look up the definition of such terms on other sites. Also, IMO, the usual editor to this wiki is not ignorant of the terms you are creating articles for.
Jack, if you would like to create new disambigution pages, I would be very supportive of that. But these general articles are unecessary and if we strictly followed the deletion policy they should be deleted. So please I think it is best if you use your creative energies on a different project. Mitro 17:25, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
I think the best option is to leave them alone. It would be best if someone removed them all, but I agree with you it is time consuming and takes away time from the funner aspects of this wiki. At the moment though they are not hurting anyone. I still encourage you to create disambigution articles if you see any red links that can serve such a purpose. Mitro 17:46, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

Jack I am getting a little tired having to keep coming to talk to you about these general articles you keep creating. I'm sorry they just do not go along with the purpose of this wiki and violate the convention on recreating wikipedia. Please stop. Mitro 18:18, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

What browser are you using. Their should be no need for the useful stuff page you created, instead on every browser i use (Opera, Firefox, IE8, Safari, Chrome) when you put your mouse over it a drop down menu extends. If you want anything added please ask me rather than put it on the main page talk, I'm working on a solution to the monobook problems now thoughVegas adict 17:00, November 9, 2010 (UTC)

Also what do you mean by the sidebar version?Vegas adict 17:01, November 9, 2010 (UTC)

Return of the Kennedys

Thank you for cleaning up my timeline.

And as for the Ted Kennedy Article, the program kicked me out when I was making the template, thats how the strange years got there. Alexanders 22:24, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

2013 Meteor event

An animated Wikipedia map you could use in illustrating all "phases", from atmospheric entry to explosion.

A free picture from the Wikipedia you could use of the trail left by the meteor after it had passed over Chelyabinsk.

Timeline: No Dallas

There are currently no articles linking to that page, but I've marked the double redirect for deletion anyway. Normally the admins take care of faulty pages, but I guess they overlooked this one. --NFSreloaded (talk) 13:15, October 9, 2015 (UTC)
