Chilean Regions for Russian America

What do you think?

Happy New Year!

Sorry to bother you suddenly, but I wanted to get your opinion on a new map I've made for Chile in Russian America. I've been playing around with possible new regions, and I believe I've come up with something that is workable and aesthetically pleasing.

All of OTL's regions remain as they are (for the most part). Since we've made Valdivia the new capital, I feel it would've been one of the original regions (rather than being established recently). I also believe it may operate similarly to the Santiago Metropolitan Region.

Magallanes would include a portion of southern Santa Cruz, while Tierra del Fuego would become its own region.

In regards to Argentina, I've decided to follow the boundaries of OTL as much as possible, only making changes when needed. Mendoza would be another Santiago/Valparaiso region (metropolitan), with the rest of the province (OTL) going alone. Southwestern Rio Negro would become a Bariloche-oriented region. I also decided to make the former Comodoro Rivadavia territory its own region. I've decided to name it after Juan Williams Rebolledo and his father, John Williams Wilson (since Rivadavia would still be Argentinian).

The only thing I'm still researching is the possibility of having the Falkland Islands (Isla Malvinas) being peacefully acquired from the British. I will give more details about that later.

I look forward to reading what you have in mind. Please let me know if there are any improvements that I can make. I also hope you like it. -- NuclearVacuum Currently Active Timeline 03:35, January 3, 2017 (UTC)

I see this wiki has a discord, but I don't see any link anywhere. Where would I find one? Vapingheathen 17:26, December 30, 2017 (UTC)
