Duplications
Greetings. Recently, you have uploaded THREE files on this site that are duplications of others. Please keep in mind that many of the files found across Wikimedia have also been uploaded to this site — all under the same names and types. These files can easily be found by searching for the file's name in the search bar. If you are using the "visual" mode for editing and uploading, please be advised that you will be required to use underscores (_
) instead of spaces when searching for a file (e.g., "Flag_of_Canada.svg" and not "Flag of Canada.svg" [do not forget to add the file type within the name]). In the event that the file you require is not already uploaded to this site, it would be very appreciated that you upload the standard file used on Wikimedia as a courtesy to current and future users.
The following uploads have have been removed from this site, and have been replaced with the following correct files:
- File:Usa flag.png → File:Flag of the United States.svg
- File:Seal of the usa.png → File:Great Seal of the United States (obverse).svg
- File:Us map.png → File:USA orthographic.svg
Please try not to let this happen again. Do not re-upload these files or remove this message from your talk page. Be advised that while this message is simply a warning, continuing to upload duplications will result in the temporary suspension of your account. Thank you for your cooperation. -- NuclearVacuum 16:56, March 18, 2017 (UTC)
WCW Buys WWF
Well, My idea is that ECW attempts to salvage WWF's tropes kind of like what the WWE did in 2006 to ECW. And what better then to recreate DX under a less PG standpoint that was common with ECW storylines.

Re:Help
I'm very sorry to hear you are having issues with another user (I've been in the same boat, myself).
As the creator of your timeline, you are completely within the right to ask anyone to cease editing/expanding upon your timeline. If they continue following this, than they can be suspended for disobedience.
You are well within the right to mark articles for deletion if they violate the canon of your timeline (or otherwise remove them from the timeline).
While I'm fully in agreement that it's a douchy move, I really can't do anything against Leonidas for what he writes on his own user page. If this moves into the timeline itself, than it's vandalism.
Not much more I can add here. I can message him to stop editing your timeline (if you wish), but the decision is yours. -- NuclearVacuum 01:28, November 5, 2018 (UTC)
Re: Interesting Times
Hi Nerdpics, yes. You can join my new map game. It might take a bit of research to learn about this time period, though, and if you run into any problems, contact my assistant, Nate. I recommend you join the wiki Discord, it allows for faster contact. Emperorkangxi (talk) 11:49, November 7, 2018 (UTC)
Response
Thank you for your remarks and background information, that will actually help in creating the legacy and framework around the perception of Martin Luther King Jr.

States
I'm currently devising the subdivision of nations in Differently and I just added a list of states to the US article. Since you contributed to related pages, I would like to ask you if this list is consistent with what you wrote or if changes are needed. For example, it seems Arizona is part of the CSA in this timeline, right? I'm planning to add a list of states to the Confederacy article too. - Esbonl (talk) 12:56, July 19, 2019 (UTC)
Napoleon's Exile In Louisiana
Hey, its been a long time, i see you aren't using that timeline i've given you, perhaps could i have it back? I have some new ideas i'd like to implement. Ungern Von Sternberg A Man's GREATEST Joy is Crushing his Enemies

Differently - move to main talk page
I moved all discussion about Differently to its talk page, which, as I was surprised to see, was completely empty up until now. Let's use there for future comments. - Esbonl (talk) 03:26, July 28, 2019 (UTC)
Electoral Maps
Thanks for the kind words!
My map making process is pretty straightforward. Unfortunately there's no easy program or website to make the maps. I take the map from a Wikipedia presidential election page (like this one), put them in Paint.net (a free picture editing program), and color the states however I want (using the magic wand select tool and then the paint bucket). As I've gone on working on Brothers No More, I've gotten a bit more advanced with it. I now have files where the electoral numbers are on a layer on top of the states, so I can color the states without touching the numbers at all. If I need to add a territory or state that's not already on the map, I cut it out of another map and try to paste it in.
I'm not sure if this matters to you, but I also do manual apportionment, which means that I do the math to see how many electoral votes each state should have based on their population. For that I use a Microsoft Excel document (which I made myself) that lets me plug in population numbers and find out how many representatives each state should get.

I'm back
Hello. It's Esbonl using an alternative account. Due to recent problems, I've been absent for a while and lost my previous account. Now that I'm back, I will resume working on Differently. I've changed the location of one of the Olympic Games on your request and added an outline of plans to expand the timeline on the talk page; check it out! If you have any suggestions or considerations, please feel free to expose them. - Lnobse (talk) 03:38, December 27, 2019 (UTC)
More stuff
I've added Cold War and some more Historical maps. Tell me what do you think. Any suggestion and contribution is welcome. There is still much I want to add. - Lnobse (talk) 02:56, February 2, 2020 (UTC)
- I also added the page Help with templates, to explain how to use the templates I created to facilitate linking. For example, writing
{{dl|Time Person of the Year}}
will link directly to Time Person of the Year (Differently). - Lnobse (talk) 02:59, February 2, 2020 (UTC)
Lincoln
Well done! Coincidentally, I was thinking of creating a page about Lincoln just a couple of days ago. - Lnobse (talk) 01:44, February 10, 2020 (UTC)
Hello, My name is Icelandicwriters but you can call me Alti. I have recently been editing the timeline Differently (Great Job on those CSA and USA Presidents btw) and Lnobse wanted me to ask you to check out my Bing Crosby page, other then that I was wondering if you'd be comfortable joining discord to make our communication easier, if you do please send me your name and Tag or I can send you mine so we could be in touch, no pressure to join Discord.

Road Not Taken
You requested most of your Road Not Taken pages to be deleted. Do you want me to delete the one or two other pages in that category? Benkarnell (talk) 14:06, May 3, 2020 (UTC)
Time Person of the Year
Hello, it's CheesyDolphins. I have a couple of ideas for the Time Person of the Year page about who should be the "Person". Just note that these are just some suggestions and they don't have to be implemented.
Some options: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jimmy Donaldson (MrBeast), etc.
This is up to you, and i thought having some other people, like MrBeast as TPOTY would be a bit fun. CheesyDolphins (talk) 03:31, 14 November 2020 (UTC)CheesyDolphins
