Central Victory

You know, I have been reading Central Victory lately. I read it even before I knew Central World existed. I'll I noticed was that the names and the PODs are exactly the same. But I think your right. I'm sorry that you have received no recognition for Central Victory. I though it was already a featured Althist. So I will nominate Central Victory to become a featured Timeline. Central World

Hi, I take the photo because it's the best for showing the Allied Powers loose the war. And in WW2 I did it like that because it's the best way of doing it, and Stalin in real life invaded Eastern Europe so I made WW2 like that in the timeline, so i'm asking your question I'm NOT copying your Timeline, i'm doing it based on the Septemberprogramm, Miteleuropa, Mitelafrica, and OTL. If you want you might help expanding it. Thank You! VENEZUELA 20:36, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

Summary

Good Day, New Euro Emperor, I write you because I wan't to say sorry to you of copying The Summary in Central World, but the rest I create it. I'm bad with Introductions, so I wan't to ask you might create the summary, and put your credit in the discussion page. Thank You! I whish you accept, regards. VENEZUELA 21:37, June 23, 2010 (UTC) Please?

Thank You. I'm just going to ask you somethings and say you another.

  1. Might I stay with the summary, or I do one, or you do one with your credit, or what?
  1. What are the many similarities, just to know.
  1. The Japanese-German Cold War I didn't copy it, it was based on The Man in The Hight Castle, and I add USA, making it a 3 sides Cold War.VENEZUELA 04:49, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

I already changed the summary, might you say me what do you think of it and if it's know different from yours?VENEZUELA 05:41, June 24, 2010 (UTC) Please?

Hey William

I saw your image of the coat of arms of the kingdom of finland and i thought you will like to contribute on my timeline Rossiskaya Imperiya KD, which goes about what would have been of russia and other countries if russia had become a constitutional monarchy (democratic monarchy as the UK) in the 1870's. I plan to write an article about the Kingdom of Finland as finland was planned to be a monarchy when they declared their independence and choosed a german prince to be coronated as king.

Could you please reply what do you thing?

Duplicate

Greetings. Recently, you have uploaded a file on this site that is a duplicate of another. Please keep in mind that many of the files used on Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons have also been uploaded to this site — with all of them having been uploaded under the same file names used on those sites (making it quite easy to locate any files you may need). In the event that the file you acquire has not already been uploaded onto this site, than we highly recommended that you upload the standard file used on Wikipedia and/or Wikimedia Commons as a courtesy to current and future users.

The following uploads have have been removed from this site, and have been replaced with the following correct files:

Please try not to let this happen again. Please do not re-upload this file. Disciplinary actions will be taken if duplications continue. Thank you. --NuclearVacuum (Talk) 17:41, June 10, 2013 (UTC)

Re:Central Victory

Nice to hear from you. I'm honored to hear that I've inspired you and your work. I have been watching your timeline for quite some time now, and was very interested in the effort you put into those maps of the states of Germany (nice to have seen I wasn't the only uploading maps for specific areas).

I am sorry to say that I am not accepting any map requests at this time. With work and life being tight at the present, I simply do not have the time to work out commissions at this time, so I do hope you can forgive me. However, I would be more than happy to give any advice I can. --NuclearVacuum (Talk) 22:02, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

Duplicating again?

You have recently uploaded a duplicate of File:Canadian Red Ensign 1868-1921.svg. You have been informed about this previously. Please do not let this happen again. --NuclearVacuum (Talk) 01:31, August 10, 2013 (UTC)

Re:Thank you

No problem, mate. That is already my work to revert illegal anon editing back from any articles. :) FirstStooge (talk) 23:18, August 26, 2013 (UTC)

Duplicating a third time

This is the third time you have now been notified about duplicating.

I know you aren't on the site much and have been used to uploading files as you wished, but I'm trying to clean the site up, and informing users not to duplicate files which already exist here. I'm sorry to say this, but the next duplicate you upload will result in a block. I strongly request that you do not duplicate again. If you need assistance I'm more than willing to help out. --NuclearVacuum (Talk) 04:41, September 14, 2013 (UTC)

No need to worry, if you need any help on this you can always ask me (I will be more than happy to help). --NuclearVacuum (Talk) 00:07, September 18, 2013 (UTC)

You have been informed recently about duplicating.

I'm sorry, but you have been informed multiple times. See you in 24 hours. --NuclearVacuum (Talk) 00:50, September 19, 2013 (UTC)

You recently uploaded a duplicate file of the Flag of the Ukraine. I will give you a break because you seem to have noticed this early and used the correct one. I removed your duplicate. You have already been blocked for 24 hours, and any further duplication will get you longer blocks. Please do not let this happen again. If you need any help to avoid this in the future, please allow me to help you out. --NuclearVacuum (Talk) 01:59, October 8, 2013 (UTC)

Oh? My apologizes, I didn't even see that it was from Wikipedia. I only noticed it had no links and was uploaded before the standard file. I have restored the file. Once again, I do apologize for this. --NuclearVacuum (Talk) 02:10, October 8, 2013 (UTC)

Hello sir,

First, let me say how much I've enjoyed reading Central Victory. Its really an amazing peice of work that I admire much.

Now, I've been trying to make a template for my upcoming German Empire atricle. But I run into a problem when i try to list the preceeding and succeeding nations. It wants to show the TL name in the parenthesis beside the countrys name, something I do not want. I was wondering if you could assist me in this matter, seeing your templates are so expertly done.

This is the WIP tamplate. --->

If you could do that, I'd be appreciative.

Re:Template Help

Greetings. Yes, been quite a while. ^_^

To be honest, I don't use that particular template. Also looking into it, I can't see much wrong with it, but that's because it's also too complex for my liking.

Regardless, I think I may have found the problem. I don't think you can use the linking template in this section. I made the correction on your page (which you can undo if it doesn't look right), but that's all I can figure out at the moment. If you need any more help, I will be here. -- NuclearVacuum Russian America 14:35, April 26, 2014 (UTC)

Yeah, that happems to me, too.

As an fyi - if you have the problem in the future, you can normally recover it by pressing "back" in your browser. From there, just copy the new content, leave and go back to the page, and paste it back in. Lordganon (talk) 09:22, May 14, 2014 (UTC)

Re:Transparency

Greetings. Forgive me, but I'm not completely sure what your issues is. Are you referring to making the background transparent? If that's the case, you can use Photoshop to remove the background manually. Use the "wand tool" to select the background, and simply delete it. The only downside is that there may be some leftovers around the image (making an outline).

I'd be more than happy to upload an altered vector version for you. However, I don't know where you got the feet for your current design. If you can tell me than I could do it, but if they came from a non-vector file than I won't be able to do so (because I'd have to manually design the feet). -- NuclearVacuum Russian America 15:07, May 30, 2014 (UTC)

hello im interested in using a few of your ideas in structuring my own timeline and a few nations. though my ultimate idea of the german empire and europe will be different. is it alright if i take inspiration from your timeline in pre ww2 europe and asia? With Blood and Iron (talk) 00:41, July 6, 2014 (UTC)

Fourth Duplication

You have recently uploaded your fourth duplicate onto the site.

As mentioned before, this is not allowed. Since it has been over a year since your last duplication, you will not be blocked for this mistake (so this will be a simple reminder/warning).

I would also like to add that since you've been doing a lot of uploads of files from Wikipedia, I would request that you upload the exact file from that site (i.e., vector files). You can do this the same way as other files, with the only difference is that it says "save page as" instead of "safe image as." If you require any assistance with this, I will be more than happy to help out. -- NuclearVacuum Russian America 18:26, October 5, 2014 (UTC)

Okay, thanks for clearing that up for me. This timeline still is great, it is on my list of favorites after all. I'm also going to start making a timeline where the Central Powers win World War One, with American help. Click here to see a sneak-peak of the whole timeline.

RE:Maps

I'm very honored that you'd ask about my maps, but unfortunately I'm not accepting any commissions at this time.

As for what would happen to the USSR had they lost WWII... very grim (IMO). Hitler was pretty intent on annexing all the area west of the Urals, so I'd suspect he'd get his chance to do that. Germany may feel compelled to give Karelia and (possibly) Murmansk to Finland, while propping up a puppet-government in Central Asia.I'd also suspect that Japan would want some Russian territory, though I don't really see them going too far into Siberia (more like the coast and the Amur River regions).

My best guess is that a Rump USSR would continue to exist in Siberia. I'd also suspect that a combination of coercion and sheer luck, many Jews and Slavs would relocate to this area (akin to the Trail of Tears, most likely). Stalin would (no doubt) become more paranoid and this Rump USSR could very easily turn into something akin to North Korea (isolated and war-like).

I do hope that helps. I wish you luck on your timeline. -- NuclearVacuum Russian America 23:28, November 15, 2015 (UTC)

I will be sure to let you know.
Do forgive me, I wasn't thinking about your specific timeline. That being said, I do see major differences than what I first mentioned to you. Firstly, would Germany still be intent on gaining lebensraum? Though Hitler certainly wanted this, I personally don't see the German Empire (especially a victorious one) going that extra mile. More likely, I'd see the Germans attempting to pull a "Warsaw Pact" on the USSR. By that I mean they establish puppet governments between them and the USSR (to act as buffers).
Could you please clarify what caused your WWII? I'd read your article, though I'm not sure if it's up-to-date. -- NuclearVacuum Russian America 01:28, November 16, 2015 (UTC)

Crap map for you.

Do forgive me for the delayed response (my brain crashed).

I'm rather curious, why have you decided to create a separate Wiki for your timeline (as opposed to expanding here)? To each is own. Either way, I'm more than happy to help you out as much as I can.

By no means should you take the following as being an insult or otherwise negative, rather I have to say it because it expresses how excited I am to see how this timeline will play out. That being said, I genuinely felt like I was committing a sin simply pondering what a defeated Russia would look like. XP

I already told you I wasn't taking commissions, but I decided to do a "crap map" for you to explain what I could see for this timeline. You are more than welcome to use these ideas if you wish, or you can ignore them (all up to you).

Counterclockwise, we have:

  • East Prussia — Though this area could remain Russian, I suppose Germany would want to annex it as it's close by. Lol, can't say that with a straight face. Joking aside, would be German (obviously).
  • Ukraine — My guess is that Germany would allow their Ukrainian allies to annex much of Southern Russia. The area in question includes Adygea, Crimea, the Krasnodar Krai, the Rostov Oblast, and the Stavropol Krai. These areas are generally included when discussing a greater Ukrainian state due to its Cossack and Ukrainian ethnic populations (Vladimir Lenin initially wanted to include these areas within the Ukrainian SSR). This would also give the added bonus of Russia being cutoff from the Black Sea.
  • Dagestan — With Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia regaining independence, I definitely could see the rest of the Caucasus being carved up. For this map, I essentially reestablished the Mountainous Republic of the Northern Caucasus (which had connections with Germany during World War I). I use the name Dagestan as the national name because it translates as "mountainous state" in Turkic (plus it sounds better). I'd suspect Chechen to be the primary language spoken here.
  • Idel-UralThis region also had German connections during World War I, so I'd believe they'd too wish for independence. It could also act as a buffer state between German-controlled Russia and Siberia (which I'll get to soon).
  • China — If I'm to assume the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Pacific War are to remain (mostly) unchanged from OTL, my guess is that a German-backed China would've been able to give Japan a tougher fight during this war. With Russia collapsing, I'd greatly suspect that the victorious Chinese would demand the return of their lost territories taken by the Russian Empire (which Germany should be more than happy to agree with). With that, Outer Manchuria (including Sakhalin) and Tuva could easily return to Chinese control. I'd also suspect that China would recapture and reincorporate (Communist) Mongolia.
  • Kuril Islands — The Soviet Union annexed the Kuril Islands from Japan following WWII (OTL). With both nations being on the loosing side of this World War II, the islands would kinda be in limbo. My guess is that they'd initially become a (temporary) territory of the United States (on par with the Ryukyu Islands). In all likelihood, they'd be return to Japan by today.
  • Siberia — Though not guaranteed, I highly suspect that Siberia would split off from Russia following its defeat. Though it would remain a Russian-speaking and Russian-populated state, many Siberians consider themselves different from those in Western Russia (comparable to those of the Thirteen Colonies or the American West). Due to the region's connections with the United States (during the Russian Empire, the Russian Revolution, and WWII), I could easily see Siberia become an American-backed liberal democracy and a buffer state during this Cold War.
    • I'd actually be more than willing to work on this particular nation for you (if you'd like). I'm rather interested in this Siberia's development.

What is left will be your rump Russian state. I have to say, I'm rather fascinated at your decision to restore the Tsardom. If I may ask, is it a restored House of Romanov? Or a new dynasty? I assume it's government would be comparable to Germany's "dictatorial monarchy." Does it too collapse into a republic post-fascism?

I hope this helps you out. If you have any questions, I'm all ears. -- NuclearVacuum Russian America 19:20, November 27, 2015 (UTC)

Long time no see. XP
Your occupation zones look very appropriate (given the circumstances).
I'm a tad confused. So does Germany completely occupies all of Russia? Does China still get Outer Manchuria? Just curious.
Otherwise, lovely map. -- NuclearVacuum Russian America 01:43, April 13, 2016 (UTC)
