Re: Southern Independence
Hello Dragon. Unfortunately, I don't think you have the right experience on either the wiki or map games. My staff team will have to be experienced, mature players who can deal with any situation. My apologies, and thank you for taking the time to read.

I suppose this is okay, but you will have to choose only one of the nations/duchies under Germany. Germany is simply a header, as all of these duchies were independent at this time. And also, Southern Independence will start maybe when Emancipation cools down, I have a staff team, and enough countries. I will in fact be participating in Emancipation, another reason there may be some wait. :)

Re (x2): Southern Independence
South Germany and Germany are two spearate nations. Please choose one Germany, or one of the subdivisions in the Germany (like Nassau, Holstein, etc.). It would be implausible to play as the whole of Germany. Thanks for understanding.

Regarding the Hanseatics
Hello, Epic. I did some research to find out Hamburg was indeed the center of the Hanseatic League; I can see hwo you would rename the nation. However, competition from the Dutch, English, HRE, and Swedish, and internal problems, led to the ultimate demise. I find it unlikely the Hanseatics would survive to this day, even without the English. This is why I am notifying you why I changed the name back. Perhaps the full name of Hamburg could be the Free Hanseatic City of Hamburg? If you feel a need to counter any of this, feel free to reply.
I also want you to know that I value your work with the European states valuable. Just because I am countering some of your edits means I undermine your work. I value it very much, and you are a great contributor to the timeline. Thank you for taking the time to read.

Hello Game of Nations player!
Now that turn one is done (Turn to starts Saturday) I have recognized the need for a more comprehensive way to plan events that involve more than one nation. So, if you would like to propose a past event, such as a war, Nation formation, or other event, please use the link I have provided below. Note that this only applies to events that involve more than one nation, so you are still free to make events that only pertain to your nation.
Thanks for playing Game of Nations, and I hope it continues to be a fun experience!
Game of Nations
As a Game of Nations mod I would liek to imform you that before you can post in the second turn of Game of Nations you must create a Page for Greater austria, and write atleast a little bit of history on it. Thanks.

Dominations dominate you
Sorry man not enough edits to be the Riech, 1000+ I suggest waiting to be a nation italic which is 150+ edits and waiting till the nation list is completed. I'm getting there, I have a ton of stuff to do and the pressure of assholes. ~~Orwell

RE: Bohemian-Brandenburgian War
Empire under Siege
Brandenburg and two other of his friends have declared open rebellion against the Holy Roman Empire. I am requesting that you send troops to assist us in this matter as an ally, and elector of the HRE.

Imperial Protectors: Bohemia, Pomerania, Brunswick, Teutonic Order, Denmark, Austria
Lists subject to additions/removals.
You will be awarded.
Southern Independence - Playability as Prussia
Hello, Reclaim. After a recent country revision in Southern Independence, I regret to inform that you are no longer eligible to play as Prussia. Please choose another nation that you can play as. My apologies, and good luck.

Time to vote
As your party leader, it is my duty to inform you to vote in the August 19th Althistorian general elections. Let's make sure the Dirigist Party wins! Vivaporius: "I don't need a slogan" 00:23, August 19, 2016 (UTC)

I think I'm going to work on it myself for now, thanks though. -Fires.
Hey Reclaim, I didn't realise Cleves-Mark was a player nation until after I declared my new (randomly invented) Archbishop as Rhoderich de La Mark. Is it still okay if I invent him as a son or brother of one of your Dukes/Counts? Nonsensicaljourney (talk) 02:47, October 31, 2016 (UTC)
Thanks Reclaim! Also, obviously I'm one of your very close neighbours so I will be requesting an alliance next turn, because I missed the chance to indent you in 1503, so just a head's up. :) Nonsensicaljourney (talk) 03:02, October 31, 2016 (UTC)
The HRE Plan
I'm sorry, but I've come to the conclusion that the Holy Roman Empire would have collapsed long before the modern day. The OTL HRE was on a long path of decline ever since the rise of nationalism, the Enlightenment, the French Revolution, etc. Also, the HRE help keep peace in times of war and turmoil in the Middle Ages; the old, feudalist, monarchist ways are simply no longer needed. There was much more than good ol' Bonaparte working to dismantle the HRE.
Consequentially, a collapsing Holy Roman Empire would limit Austrian influence in Europe. Due to succession lines in the House of Lorraine, I agree that Alsace-Lorraine would be in a personal union with Austria (but still an independent country). However, Austria probably isn't going to get any bigger than it did OTL. It already had, among others: Hungary, Bohemia, Bosnia, Carniola, and Croatia. The time of Habsburg domination is over, in both timelines.
Now, about the Dutch system and Belgium. You seem to know very well that the Habsburgs owned the Southern Netherlands (as they were called then). However, in both OTL and this TL, Revolutionary France annexes the Southern Netherlands. However, without Napoleon to take control, Revolutionary France is remembered as a short-lived, failed state that collapsed in a civil war. The Netherlands would then annex the Southern Netherlands for themselves, and enter PU with Luxembourg.
You have been banned for copying and pasting several timelines and claiming them as your own.
Your ban will expire in one month.
Do not act like this again.

Re: Germany and France
You make a good point regarding Germany; I do agree that some of the German states (especially Prussia) need to be redone.
With regards to France, I do agree that the Hundred Years' War would indeed not occur. I have not done much research on the Middle Ages, so perhaps I can look into it a little more.
In the meantime, I give you authorization to rewrite Prussia.
Birth of Civilization
So, I and the Visigoth player have been discussing what's been happening in recent turns, and he's made it apparent to me that he does not find it plausible that you have discovered him through me. I am inclined to agree, based upon the idea that ambassadors to a country finding out about something at the same time as that country's leader seems a bit strange, and even more so when it was not exactly something that people throughout the country were talking much about, perhaps even to the point that some of the peoples farther away in the country wouldn't have heard about it at all. Arkius II Devesedinius Doomer Talk At Me 22:34, January 17, 2017 (UTC)
Any preference on the colors of the sub-kingdoms? Also, do you want a colored border around the whole Empire, if so do you have any color preference for that? Arkius II Devesedinius Doomer Talk At Me 03:24, February 1, 2017 (UTC)
So, in your turn, you said that Southland expanded, however you also said it was dissolved. Does this mean I should add their expansion to the map, remove them from the map, keep it as-is, something else? Arkius II Devesedinius Doomer Talk At Me 19:51, February 3, 2017 (UTC)
TBAC: New Wars and Ideas
Hmm. My research shows that the Habsburg Empire would collapse at some point, so these wars might be possible. An independent Hungary is almost inevitable in the modern day, and the Croats probably want their own independence; perhaps supported by Serbia? Capitalizing on the weakness of Vienna, the Czechs could very well establish and independent Bohemia; the ethic Italians of South Tyrol and Trieste may attempt independene (Trieste is mose likely to join Venice, however).
Hungary may take the place of OTL Austria in its Balkan ambitions; this independent Hungary would already have OTL Hungary, Slovakia, Carpathian Ruthenia, Transylvania, and Vojvodina. However, I don't think an alternate World War I would happen (namely because, despite Bismarck's best efforts, Prussia will be unable to unite all of Germany), though Serbia-backed Balkan separatist movements in Hungary are a possibility. Hungary's ambitions could be a motive for an Austro-Turkic alliance.
Now, regarding the Hanseatic Confederation. With my latest revisions, Hamburg may not even be independent. As you probably know, Hamburg was a free city under the protection of Austria. Now, if the HRE capitulates or decentralizes to pre-1410 levels, Hamburg would be left vulnerable. Denmark-Norway would retain control of Schleswig-Holstein, and is likely to conquer Lubeck soon enough. Hamburg could suffer a similar downfall, to either Denmark-Norway or Brunswick (which may lead to a war over control of Hamburg).
Prussia may keep to its own affairs up until Bismarck (plus they've always had their eye on Saxony, which they've wanted to annex), who would still try to unite Germany. Bismarck may accomplish an annexation of Saxony and even Mecklenburg, but not much past that. The Thuringian states are likely to be eventually united by one of the states (which I believe to be Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach) and become the Kingdom of Thuringia; the threat of Prussian aggression may be a motive.
I'll draw up a new map of Europe later today.
Please stop making very brief timelines that are lacking in content. Also, do not copy the work of other timeline writers.

I believe that the Map Contest is officially retired. Feel free to open a similar one, but the original is closed for business.
No Wiki TL
Looking through the timeline (so far) and I noticed that its being very specific. So not WWI/II wikis or other stuff that doesn't relate to what is currently on. Where do they go in terms of this TL as my main one is a sport based timeline. HawkAussie (Talk) 00:38, February 7, 2017 (UTC)
RE: JoW Proposals
What Never Was Maps
I'd be happy to do the maps for "What Never Was". Thanks for asking!
I don't think I'll have to time to do nay actual content for What Never Was, other than maps; I have quite a lot on my plate already. And with regards to the map values (___ px), what map scale do you want me to use? I feel like the map for 1400 in PMIV would work pretty well, since it is quite detailed; what do you think?
Hello can i join the who owns spain map game. I am new to map games and would like to try one.
Hello Reclaim, I have seen that you have been helping the previous owner, Orange, on the German States in the "British Ain't Coming"! As you might of saw on the Talk Page, I now own the "British Ain't Coming" as I adopted it, and will allow previous contributors to continue their work, as long as they collaborate with me as well. So, with that said, any ideas or proposals you have? ~~The History Nerd
I agree with that too, but I think the German Confederation or at least something like it would survive/be created, since the HRE was a mess, and was bound to collapse, Britain or not. So I like your thinking. I plan on adding lots of new things, and remaking many ideas! Thank you for your collaboration! ~~The History Nerd
Well, yes, but over time, it would defiantly centralize more, especially after the French Civil War.
Seeing what I was able to do with Raumpatrouille on this wiki you have my attention. Will the timeline be one where Pike remained Captain of the Enterprise but Number One did not remain a character or will it be one where 'Star Fleet Academy' became a show (I see SFU in the list)- I'm certaily eager to see how you alter science fiction and what cultural impact this has on the world. Will Star Wars be more akin to 'The Journal of the Wills '. As you can see I have so many questions I'm eager to have answered ^_^ like, Will Jabba be a Human? So many questions!
