In 1758 during the French and Indian War, the British attacked the French Fort Duquesne in order to drive the French out of the Ohio River Valley and open Canada for a British invasion. In OTL, despite defeating a British reconnaisince force and capturing a major, French soldiers were forced to retreat because of a high number of British soldiers.

But what if the French had decided not to leave? What if the British, because of those losses, did not attack Duquesne again? What if there was a French Victory at Duqesne?
