Vittoria II, full name: Vittoria Cantalamessa, was the last Empress of Italia. Vittoria II was a mentally unstable woman and was known as a cruel tyrant to her people. She considered herself the "reincarnation of Athena" and "absolute ruler of the Italian people". As such, any who dared oppose her were to suffer her wrath. A vain and overconfident woman, Vittoria believed she was worshipped by her people as a living goddess. Her delusion even led her to organize a national referendum about the future of the monarchy. The referendum turned out be a major disaster for the monarchy, as nearly 95% of the population voted to abolish the monarchy. Vittoria stubbornly refused to accept the turnout and declared a national crackdown on calls to abolish the monarchy. This quickly escalated into a revolution, led by the general Alessandro da Siena. The national military, which was suffering from defections from all sides was unable to retain control of the country. On November 9, she was arrested for treason against the state and crimes againsg humanity, among other offenses. She was soon after executed without a trial.

The same day, the monarchy was abolished and Alessandro da Siena declared the Republic of Italia. Vittoria is universally hated by the Italian populace and seen as one of the worst despots in European history.
