Walter Philip Reuther (September 1, 1907 – May 9, 1970) was the fourth Chairman of the Socialist Confederacy, serving from 1963 to 1970. He previously served as Secretary of the Popular Front from 1952 to 1963. On April 11, 1968, President Walter Reuther signed the Civil Rights Act of 1968, prohibiting discrimination of people for race, religion and sex.
