Washington was a state in the United States of America. It is now primarily composed of five known communities: Victoria (which is based on Vancouver Island in Canada), the Republic of San Juan, Leavenworth, Lincoln (a state of the United States of America), and the Pasco Free State.

Leavenworth[]
Population: 4382.
Info: Located in the center of Chelan County, Washington. It is a city-state.
Pasco Free State[]
Population: Approximately 240,000.
Info: Located in southeastern Washington, formed from the tri-city area.
Astoria[]
Population: 350,000.
Info: Astoria is the remnant of the former Oregon state government, now based out of Astoria. They crossed the mouth of the Columbia River in July of 2010 and took control over a small portion of the opposite bank.
Lincoln[]
Population: 292,103
Info: Part of the State of Lincoln encompasses the easternmost reaches of the former state, including Spokane. It is part of the restored United States of America. Its territory used to be under the Spokane Raiders.
San Juan Islands[]
Population: 17,000.
Info: Formed on the San Juan Islands, located off the shore of what was once the northwestern part of the continental United States. The San Juan Islands were eventually readmitted into the United States of America, this time as their own state rather than a part of Washington State. The Islands would serve as an important trading post and naval base for the resurgent USA.

Population: 2,003,919.
Info: Occupies almost the entire western coast of Washington, minus a sliver on the Columbia River and the San Juan Islands.

Coulee was a nation that was devastated by the Spokane Junta in the years shortly after the events of Doomsday. Nearly all the civilians in the area were killed.
Spokane[]
Spokane was a nation located in southeastern Washington, with operations based in and around the Spokane area, that raided towns and countries as far south as the Great Salt Lake. They were destroyed by an alliance led by Utah in 1991, with the last elements of that state being eliminated in 1993.
