Wassily Sergeyevich Felgenhauer (Russian: Василий Сергеевич Фельгенгауэр; July 6, 1944 - September 1, 2009) was a Russian politician and military general who served as the President of the Russian Republic from 1998 to 2000, and the Chancellor of the Imperial Russian Commonwealth from 2000 to 2004. Felgenhauer, along with his successor, Vladimir Ungern-Sternberg, are both known for their roles in the Second Chechen War, and under their leadership, the Russian military effectively and decisively ended Chechen Independence movement, having them gain a favor with half of the Russian population as future presidential candidates, but this also turned the majority of the population against the Russian Republic led by President Franko Korkunov.

Felgenhauer was the leader of the Patriotic Opposition Front, a coalition of political groups and parties that opposed the presidency of Franko Korkunov. The Patriotic Opposition felt in plain, that President Korkunov was leading Russia to a moral, economic, social and political degeneration. The successful 1997 Coup led to the establishment of the Provisional Government once-more, and the Emergency Parliamentary Elections, which was won by Wassily Felgenhauer thanks to his promise to lead Russia back to the global stage. Additionally, he was a monarchist who seeked to restore the Tsarist government, under a Constitutional form.

During his leader as the president, Felgenhauer changed Russia's flag back to the original imperial tricolor, and made a series of reforms that paved the way for a steady economic recovery. As someone who held negative views of the west, President Felgenhauer made a bid for Russia to join the Chinese political bloc, and also borrowed Chinese loans to help restore Russian jobs, recognizing China as Russia's new paramount ally and the new superpower of the East, undoing and destroying much of what preceding president Korkunov had done who had attempted to pull Russia into the orbit of the western powers.

In 2000, Felgenhaur successfully helped usher in the return of the recognition of the Empress as the Russian head of state, however this was as a constitutional figurehead, as Felgenhauer truly understood that democracy was the way to move Russia into the future. He reigned as the Chancellor from 2000 to 2004, before stepping down, allowing Vladimir Ungern-Sternberg to become the succeeding Chancellor.
