What if the 1917 Revolution had never occurred? What if the Tsar had suppressed the revolts and, instead, brought democracy to Russia?

The Revolution

In this timeline, the Gendarmes were able to suppress the revolutionaries and restore the order at the empire. Two years later, in 1919, Nicholas II got tuberculosis after a visit to Siberia. The Tsar died a few weeks after the trip, and his son Alexei II was crowned. Alexei, after watching the revolts of 1917, decided to create a constitutional monarchy in 1923, making himself as Head of State, but keeping the prime minister as Head of government.

From now on, The history is the same as in Our Timeline until 1941, when Hitler decided not to invade Russia, not fearing the low war potential. Without an Eastern Front, the Nazis were able to control all Europe. The Americans, afraid of the German Army, decided taking position in the war.

Great Britain

After a large offensive against Great Britain, the Royal Family, inspired in John VI of Portugal, tried to move its capital, first to Edinburgh, and after the takeover of the island, to Ottawa, in Southeast Canada, elevating Canada to one of the Kingdoms and creating the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Ireland and Canada, which claim the British Isles of Great Britain and Ireland. Negotiations to re-hand sovereignty of the Isles remained until 1954, when the negotiations with the new German Republic (see below) succeeded with giving back only England, but not Scotland (because of the Oil Fields in the North Atlantic Ocean) and Ireland for the toleration with the new Communist Regime, creating a new United Kingdom.

In Nazi Germany, the Holocaust still happens. In this timeline Russia started to create Jewish settlements in far east Asia. The Jews who fled from Germany see this as an opportunity to rebuild their lives and see that land as "the new Promised Land". After many rallies asking for independence, the Russian Government decided to give the place independence, creating the Republic of Judea.

One Korea, but two Chinas

Meanwhile, in Asia, Japan continued to invade China and the South West Pacific. After the invasion of Chungking, the KMT re-based in Lhasa, establishing the new capital of the Chinese Republic. The Japanese Army, finding trouble in invading the Tibetan region, sought a peace agreement with the rebels, funding the Republic of China, at Tibetan Region, and the Japanese Republic of China.

So, the world was split. The Americas under British influence, Europe under German control and Asia influenced by Japan. This scenario ruled the world until 1954, when the lack of food and freedom took control over the nation. When the records of Bernstein's ideals were found, they united the country, leading to a revolutionary group named Rotfrontkämpferbund, "Alliance of Red Front-Fighters" or RFB. within a few days, the RFB took control on Berlin, converting the new country in a socialist state named Großdeutsches Republik, or Great German Republic.

In this world, freedom and democracy are not seen as an ideal. Communism is not as dictatorial as in our world and Fascism is still an active way of government. De-colonization was not encouraged by international organizations, an the world could never became what it is today.
