 William Jennings Bryan (1860-1925) was the 25th President of the United States of America. Prior to becoming President, Bryan was the dominant force in Democratic populism. His election to the Presidency in 1898 led to populism's growth and enactment.

The most notable event of Bryan's presidency was the Spanish-American War.

Bryan was an active supporter of Eugene V. Debs both during Debs' campaigning and during his presidency.
