The Second World War, 1934-1939 began when the Russian Federation and French republic refused Germany's Demand for Lebensraum in the Sudetenland. The Entente and Triple alliance also had an enemy in the form of the Comintern, but this was a Three-way conflict. While Mexico was largely left alone until the USA's entry, France squashed the Spanish Socialist Republic at Barcelona.
