The major POD of this time-line is that the Soga clan manages to hold on to their influence and do not diminish in the Seventh Century. This later leads to a more powerful Japan than soon colonised most of Siberia and went on to be one of the leading powers in the world.
- ~644 - The heads of the Soga clan do not become unsatisfied, and continue to retain their influence.
- ~700 - Hyoso of Silla does not improve relations with the Tang Dynasty, and instead strengthens Korea to defend themselves from any future Chinese invasion.
- ~770s - The Second Silla–Tang War takes place. The Koreans emerge victorious.
- ~900 - Japan begins expanding into the lands north of it.
