Yasuhito, or his other name Emperor Chichibu, was the 125th and last emperor of Japan. He first became a regent after his eldest brother, Hirohito, was assassinated by syndicalist Katsuro Noguchi (Kaiserreich Continued). A year after the assassination, Yasuhito declared himself emperor of Japan and began the Yasuhito Restoration (Kaiserreich Continued), a military takeover that dissolved parliament and habeas corpus.
