Zambezia, officially the Zambezi Federation, also known as the Zambezian Federation or the ''ZF'', is is a country in Southern Africa within the African Great Lakes region.
It borders Zaïre to the north, East Africa to the northeast, Mozambique to the east, South Africa to the south, and Freedmansland to the west.
Created from a colonial federation started in 1953 that consisted of four southern African territories: the self-governing British colony of Southern Rhodesia and the British protectorates of Northern Rhodesia, Nyasaland, and Bechuanaland; which are now the divisions of Zambia, Rhodesia, Malawi, and Botswana.
